As always it's only 3 quid to get in the bar is well stocked and the prices are great along with a very large car park for those of you that choose to drive. Newtown Soul Club in September brings you two of the best young Dj's from Room At The Top in Manchester playing there selection of soul music Jordan Wilson and Conner White these two lads run a very busy soul club in Manchester which I have only heard good reports about along with Jordan and Conner will be Irv Milne from Aberdeen and the usual residents Paul, Neil, Blunny and myself. The club has a very large stocked cheap bar, large dance floor and ample parking space.

BEST OF BRITISH Part 2 will be held at Worsley Mesnes Social Club, more details on dj's to follow.

BEST OF BRITISH Saturday 28th December at Stubshaw Cross Community and Sports Club Walter Street Ashton in Makerfield wn4 8tp which will run from 4.00pm till 01.00am brings you part one of the Best Of British, 9 brilliant dj's, 3 from England 3 from Scotland and 3 from Wales playing the best of northern soul all on original vinyl. Part 2 will be on Sunday 29th at Worsley Mesnes Social Club Fairbrother Avenue Wigan wn3 5hl 2.00pm till 10.00pm. Door tax will be £10 for Saturday and £5 for Sunday. So if you wanna dance you christmas dinner off ready for the new year get down there, the music will be amazing. See flyer for the dj line up for Saturday.

This month at Newtown brings you Dean Mitchell a very good friend and regular at the club as one of the guest dj's. Also with Dean will be Andy McCabe who is also a very good friend to the club these two lads certainly no there stuff they have been running events for years and no what it's all about, along with Neil Paul and Jimmy 3 of the regulars playing a varied sellection of Northern, R+B, Crossover and a little bit of Modern. The club has very reasonable bar prices and a large car park. Also please note the change in times We will now be running from 3pm till 9pm

Sunday the 21st. July Newtown brings you Tony Brookes as the guest dj. Tony is not scared too play something a little different but also know's how to please the dancefloor, along with Tony will be the usual residents Neil, Blunny, Paul and Jimmy playing records just for your enjoyment.

Sunday 19th May is the next instalment of Newtown playing something for everyone (soul wise) along with the residents Paul, Neil, Blunny and Jimmy we have as our guest dj (Jimmy) James Randell who will be digging into his record box of tricks to bring a few new/old tunes along to Newtown. hope you can make it there to give him some support.

Sunday 21st April is the next instalment of Newtown with guest Dj's Dean Mitchell and Andy McCabe bringing there fine selection of tunes for your enjoyment, along with residents Neil, Paul and Jimmy unfortunately there will be no Blunny as he will be away boozing it up on a stag do, he will be back in May as always the 3rd Sunday of ever month.

Sunday 17th March is the next one down at Newtown which will be a charity event in aid of Parkinson's UK, guest dj's for the day are Carl and Maria Willingham also Bob Spendlove along with the residents Paul, Blunny, Neil and Jimmy let's make it a gud-un.

This month at Newtown bring you as a guest Dj Mr. Tony Munday alot of you will no him from the days of Moss Bank and Orrell St. James along with Tony will be the residents Paul, Blunny, Neil and Jimmy playing a great mixture of music.
