  1. I wonder if when this thread hits "7777" views soon, whether "7" really will be a lucky number for the Motown 7's Box story, maybe with some official good news from Universal about correcting all the faulty boxes people have paid for and received. I hope so anyway.
  2. Not sure I should post this or not after reading some recent comments, where clearly many people have been badly let down on this box set, but guessing people want to know there are complete box sets out there to give some hope.... I got home today to find delivery number 00685 through the door all present and correct. Apart from nearly cutting myself on one of them (bit rough on the edges!) this has just given me an absolutely brilliant hour playing most through twice and reading the notes whilst listening to each 45 and dancing about a bit in the process before the wife n kids got in. Many I knew & had heard out and about etc, but a few I've never heard and just love at first listen. Best £50 spent this year. Thanks again to those involved in creating it (notwithstanding the major negative issues of course) and to Laurence at Soul Brother for picking up on the problem and checking all was okay before posting. Just a superb service and great shop generally. ...Guessing that little stock will go pretty quick now, if not gone already. Cheers and I genuinely hope everyone does get a full working box of these gems real soon. Steve
  3. Very useful thread thanks. Looking forward to this arriving...ordered from Soul Brother Records and had an email today from Laurence in the shop to ask if I minded him opening it to check all present and correct before posting out. "Shipped" confirmation seen so hopefully all good. Great service indeed as this was never going to be just left on the shelf at home still sealed and gathering dust. Records are made to be played. Cheers, Steve
  4. Hi there. Just Pm'd you. Almost forgot to add the "A" side (I've made up my mind) is just heavenly. Cheers, Steve

  8. Just going through some pics I took this summer and found this little beauty which I managed to get real close to as it was resting on the washing line. Not a bird...but it does have wings! + actually looks like it's smiling!

  11. And lovely B side too..."Should I take you home"...Great price I think, and for Albert Jones!
  12. Yes I thought the same, like with the latest Charles Walker & Dynamites LP that got released then came out again soon after but with the superb "Get up on living" added and different artwork, before that track then got released on a 45 a few weeks back. Maybe a licensing reason, or money, or both. Either way it'll be nice to have this LP on Timmion as well, with the think card sleeve and couple different tracks to the first release.
  13. Looking forward to getting a copy of this real soon. Honestly makes my day when I learn of another Soul Junction release. Maybe a steer on what's next for a winter warmer or two over Christmas?!
  14. Great cover, as per all the Timmion artwork. Been enjoying the "Broadway" LP over recent months but this issue has some extra tracks on not available elsewhere? This vid of Cold Game live in radio studio just great....They're enjoying what they do so much, it's infectious.
  15. "Cant forget about you baby"....just sublime soul I think. Thanks for the information so far by the way as this is the only record I have by her so far and will be looking for more in future for sure ...
  16. Yes. Thanks anyway though. Hopefully someone has one gathering dust on a shelf that deserves to see the light of day under a new owner. Cheers, Steve
  17. Just missed out on this LP last night so wondered if anyone else has one that needs a good home? Many thanks, Steve
  18. Hopefully priced about right...and still for sale
  19. Discounted slightly from original sales list of 1st October (some good records left on that list by the way!).... The Curtis Liggins Indications - What it is / Funky Monkey Right On (Kaycee-Soul...original "KCS-08" matrix stamped). M- £275 SOLD THANKS Please PM me if interested. Payment via Paypal (as family / friends if poss). Please add £2.50 for 1st class Recorded in UK or £5 Special Delivery. Please ask me if overseas. I can't post sound up at the moment but you tube clip of the "What it is" side below. Photos via email if required. Labels totally clean, near mint both sides but does actually have small edge warp that does not affect play in any way. Thanks for looking, Steve.
  20. Some interesting photos on the BBC / Natural History Museum websites this week, for the "Wildlife photographer of the year" awards, although the judges clearly weren't made aware of this thread hey! Lol
