  4. Sounds absolutely lovely! When is planned release date please? Thanks, Steve
  5. Loving this over the last few days, from the new DeRobert & Half truths LP "The Dole Pt 2". Whole LP superb but this got my immediate attention and feet moving instantly. I also think I need a new Mac, as threads like this (great as they are with all clips and things) takes sooooo long to upload each page!
  6. Hi Gary. Pm'd you with a name of a member who might have one for sale. Cheers, Steve
  7. I just do as I'm told Mel! You're too kind, but thanks for supporting us all over here in deepest, darkest Northants x
  8. Thanks again for having us on Topsy / Tabs. Here's a link to playlist for anyone interested. All the best, Steve
  9. Thanks again to Topsy for having us on his Shades of Soul show this Tuesday night and for those who listened in. Was for the Soul in the Bowl event this coming Saturday.... Did best on behalf of growing number of people who support Soul in the Bowl, to give just a taste of what people can expect to hear flittng between the main room ("Cleethorpes Connection Special" this time with Chris Dalton as special guest!) and also in 2nd room "Len's Den" (just sublime soul as usual in there again I'm sure). Bit of a mash-up here and some good banter had between playing them on Nick's show, but hopefully a bit of something for everyone. Cheers, Steve. 10. Thanks Tabs / Topsy!....Well just "me" flying the flag for Rushden / East Northants on this one but Len, Jem, Brian and hopefully a few others will be there in spirit and giving me some stick support in t'chat room. I'll be bringing some "Den" type tunes, some "Main Room" dancers, including a bunch of Cleethorpes winners here and there (as Chris Dalton is special guest in Soul in the Bowl main room this coming Saturday) and a few recent soulful releases to hopefully keep things interesting. Looking forward to it and great to have opportunity to open this New Year with you. Cheers, Steve
  11. Soul indeed Sean, thanks. PM from me on the way to Dave in Japan I think ....But there is "PLENTY to look forward to" this year I think!
  12. Bit late looking through this thread but for couple hours today really enjoyed listening to / looking up some of the tracks posted, thanks. I always look forward to each new release on Soul Junction, Kent, Numero, Daptone, Timion, Secret Stash labels etc etc.... where so many AMAZING (often prev unreleased) tracks finally get to be enjoyed at a good price. Still enjoying the Al Supersonic and Teenagers LP from last year, particularly the track "Under Construction"... Link here to listen to it for anyone interested: https://alsupersonicandtheteenagers.bandcamp.com/track/under-construction An older 45 which may or may not be too well known and I'd love to hear out somewhere maybe in a smaller room, I have to thank Jason Stirland at SoulStacks for finding me lovely condition copy this last year. Okay, not exactly a "top tip" but certainly got my attention when I first heard it a couple of years ago, and still does each week! Little Ron Johnson - I keep telling you (Hard Times) Happy New Year, Steve
