Just pre-ordered this new LP by Nigel Hall "Ladies & Gentlemen" after getting hooked on this track the last few weeks. Catchy little number here "Never gonna let you go", similar to Raphael Saadiq's hit of a few years back...Some other excellent tracks on the album too I think. Brilliant thank you! It really was an amazing performance in Bilbao a few weeks ago...Alex and his mates did a great job organising it all. Mike and the band + backing singers all incredible...a few of us there were lucky enough to sit and chat with him in the hotel for a good half hour or more..a really lovely man and what a voice! Cheers Dave (and to the three people who just got it and danced to it!)...sounded brilliant in that room. It's a real top quality release from Soul Junction. Great playing it but would love dancing to it even more so when I hopefully hear anyone else play it out.

Sorry not normally a contributor on this thread, though I look now and then and flirted briefly with the bird and wildlife one a year or two ago!...Anyway I rarely take a good photo but quite proud of this one on way back from Bilbao soul weekend last Sunday night and managed to just about stay awake as we approached Stansted with this shot out the window using my old iPhone. Can't work out how to rotate it but hopefully you get the idea! Hey great photos you guys keep posting btw.

Will be great to have these two tracks on vinyl on the back of the awesome double cd from last year. Just superb. How much talent in one family?!!

....and finally so pleased this has been officially released this month, after first hearing Brian Goucher and one or two other lucky few play it out and about this last couple of years... R&R Soul Orchestra - "I'm gonna tell her".. Just superb I think! The rest of the album great too.

For those who like things a bit deeper now and then....Another new 45 from Timmion Records in a week or so from the amazing Willie West "I'm still a man (Lord have mercy)", which didn't make his album last year.

Oh yes, this looks stunning. Can't wait and just so grateful that Ady and others go to such effort to keep unearthing and releasing soul like this, compiling and writing up the stories behind it all.. thankfully not just keeping it to themselves. Hi Jordi, no just cd and download through Bandcamp I think. Guessing all tracks will be on the album though, which is pre-order on vinyl and may also get general release hopefully. Looking forward to hearing from you on any good new soul releases you pick up to share on here

Yes been meaning to chase that up after pre-ordering earlier this year...hopefully when it does come out it'll have the Drizabone treatment or something like, to differentiate it from the album version. Still showing on their website as available with an August release date, but can't see any mention of it on their FB page recently. Might be worth someone asking Paul Mooney as he's behind the album and to be fair looks like they've been busy touring.
