That latest release from Super Disco Edits (Between the Two) was brilliant to dance to a couple of times over this last weekend when it was played by a few of the DJs at Soul Essence alongside more tried and tested floor fillers More great prev unreleased tracks from Cordial. Really like both these sides by Ruby & The Mudflaps...

Okay not a new recording, but brilliant to learn from Brian Goucher a couple weeks ago that this stunning and very rare cd only track from the mid 90s by The Michigan Soul Searchers is about to be released on 45, after Pat Biggerstaff has tracked down remaining band member and licenced for limited run of 45s on his Izipho Soul label. https://www.souldiscovery.co.uk/2018/03/24/the-michigan-soul-searchers/ I was lucky to find a couple of the cd’s after Brian put me onto this a few years back, and until this last week or two the track hasn’t been posted up on online / youtube etc by anyone + the cd has remained incredibly rare...thankfully soon to be available for wider appreciation. Puts a BIG smile on my face this track as I love coming home from work and love sleeping About £200? Having said that I see there’s two on Discogs currently at £400 and £450. Not sure they’ll sell at that mind. I have the Trojan but would love the Bread one if anyone can help there? Just noticed it’s getting a re-release on Sundae Soul out of Germany at the end of this month (Del now lives over there I think) so at least it will be more widely available on 45, and much more cheaply!
