Dave’s was an uncredited Bell Sound acetate. No one knew who it actually was at the time. Dave played it as AP.
I played it out off the Lp.
Have you a link to the release?

Chalky's post in MELLO SOULS - YAWN!!!! was marked as the answer
There are between 10 and 20 copies at least. There was three here, three at least in NY, one in Japan (was two). Andy then got three copies off relatives and others have turned up over the years. The intro is a guitar and it isn't the Supremes intro sampled although it is similar. As for not played much since the 90s? Need to get out more. Shifty, Mick H hammered it, Kitch before he sold it to Andy Killick who played it, Ted, Andy on occasion he dj'ed etc.

Chalky's post in Prophets/Martha Starr mock up acetate was marked as the answer
They came from tapes @Robbk sent over to Rod Shard at the beginning of the 80s. Recording eventually leaked out and cuts done, this will no doubt be one. Prophets is what the originals was covered up as.

Chalky's post in two instrumental questions ? was marked as the answer
No one knows who The Band is behind Michigan Move or its real name. In Guys words “Michigan Move came off an unlabelled, unnamed, no details at all master-tape. It could have been done at Golden World privately, only because there was a pile of Golden World master-tapes with it, but it was in a different tape box”.

Chalky's post in Lillie Bryant Meet Me Half Way (Monarch Test Press) was marked as the answer
Done by Soussan before the boot/reissue. The reissue isn’t a monarch press is it? There was a previous topic on here were it was said the monarch one was shelved when the red ones appeared?

Chalky's post in Value please - Soul Portrait LP Willie Hutch was marked as the answer
Anywhere between £75 and £150. I'd say realistically somewhere in between.
Vg+ is $75 on discogs up to a few hundred for a UK seller (surprise surprise).
If it is original, which it looks like from the sleeve (its not the reissue from Be With) it will sell.

Chalky's post in Dance photos request was marked as the answer
Alison, you will find there are many who will be glad to help and most, unlike some, are very welcoming. As @Zoomsoulblue says Coops will probably help, he is out every week taking photos @coopsand a great guy as well, send him a PM.
We aren't all miserable and unhelpful on here. I've only really taken photos of live acts so can't help with dancers.

Chalky's post in Barbara McNair Canadian motown was marked as the answer
More often than not records like this, in demand floor fillers, it usually makes little difference where they came from unless on a UK copy. DJs will pay what it takes to get them.
