Michigan move was if I remember rightly is from a studio tape with 19 takes on it. On the last take there is a comment saying "what you getting so worked up about it's a shit intro." The studio I think was summat to do with the "Washpan" set up. Will see if I can find some notes I have.
Even better version (IMO) Andy by William Hunt on Streamside, more soulful. Cheap too at about £30 or £40. And I've played this out in years gone by ;-)
Don't know the Gaye Jamison on O-Gee, been with two dealers today and they weren't sure. None of us have seen O-Gee on red label either. Have you a scan?
100 August Moon You're Together Baby Wasted Years
430 Gladys Can't Get You Outta My Mind Willow Weep For Me
597 Gladys Love A Precious Moment
Both Gladys getting spins, Love especially, great record. Reputed to be Gladys Knight.
I'd like to know too, was £500 last I heard, f****** ridiculous. Not that rare, would have though £150/£200 tops!! Some daft folk out there with too much money ;-)
My sentiments exactly and still the main reason why I travel. You can't get the rarities the likes of Butch has on tape or cd so you have to go out to hear him play them.
At one time you could here a record and have a good idea who was spinning it too, nowadays all the wannabe djs are playing the same stuff ;-/
