It's a re-issue LP (UK) from the 80's. Brilliant record, always reminds me of the 80's and the 100 Club. His "I Can't Go On" (Smash) worth a listen too.

Unfortunately hardly kept flyers, they were mailny used for writing titles and phone numbers down on Got some of Allanton, Rob Marriotts events, Guys, some Stafford ones (including the darts teams hero Dobie Gray ) Busy really until mid next week as a way with work so can't do anything untill then but will try and dig something out.

Agree lots of stuff that are rare, unissued etc are op0nly played because of that reason and not for the quality. Post the clip tho'. Will have another listen

What ever it is, it is IMHO a very poor version. If it was a tenner I doubt very much it would be played at all.

Would have thought worth £1000 IMHO. Priobably £700. That was aboput the price I last saw that wsn't on e-bay. Can remember seeing this for £25 at one time

I've got it down to just over 2meg, almost 7 minutes long

Thing is Stuart, Northerners whether folk like it or not always made up a large part of the crowd at 100 Club etc. Used to be loads of us meet in the services, on the way there and again on the way home people don't travel now, from either the South or from the North except the hardcore. Too many venues up here as good or if not better musically. Places like Union, Lowton musically as good as any venue anywhere! Nothing IMHO can compete with Lifeline musically as an upfront venue, it's the only true upfront niter in the country. Soultown all-nighter is as good as any other venue musically. Southerners hgave no real need to trqavel as they also have a venue nearby everyweek and often midweek too.

Half the records on the scene are messy. Because they are messy and far from the polished article probably only heightens the appeal of some records Bunch of guys (or gals) going in the studio and singing their socks off If they were "perfect" would they have the same appeal?

At the end it tells you who was the latest poster click on Latest and it takes you to the latest post, certainly the last page

The Joe King - Speak On Up isgreat IMO. All come from same source who found all the remaining stock of Prix records. Once the Royal Esquires etc have gone the price will rise and folk will wishing they paid the prices that it's at now
