  1. The other side of the Soul Twins ain't bad either
  2. Shouldn't be anymore than a fiver in the real world, IMO.
  3. You ever seen one before Pete on WD? Don't think I've ever seen one.
  4. Would have thought a couple myself although the big money bidders are on it now so may scare a few potential bidders off
  5. I'm glad I ain't got it
  6. Mello Souls, '85???...I asked him about this as was having a debate as to whether or not he played this at Stafford and he reckons first time he played this was mid to late '86...after Stafford closed, maybe the Burntwood niters. There are of course his Diane Lewis and Temptones cover ups. Both I think are unknown so does that really count????
  7. Rose Valentine must be one of the longest. Also Pat Bradys Jnr McCants - Try Me, Little Carl Carlton if memory serves me correctly was covered for 8 or 9 years.
  8. Agree Marc, just coincidence Would take a fair few turning up to briing the price down anyway
  9. Soul Communicators and the Oxford Nights should be nearer £100 than the prices they are currently fetching due to the number of copies about, real or not. Soul Communicators was only £400 when it was hard to come by, see it every where these days, same for the Oxford Nights. Flash, £1500 but I've seen two copies for sale in the past week alone, have some been found or just coincidence.
  10. Anywhere between £500 and £800 IMO. One went on ebay fro just over 500. I've seen one go for £750. It's the flip to Loves Just Begun on IN. Great double sider
  11. Where???
  12. Depends if you have permission from the source of said cd (IMHO). If the "unissued" track is being played by the person who gave you the cd then no IMO.
  13. Ok mate, PM me your address. I've a spare here of one I did for another swap on the RSF, i'll throw you that in too
  14. Shouldn't play either IMO unless it's unissued.
  15. Neither do I to be honest when out. But having said that most of the venues I go to the DJ's are usually doing it the way it should be, origianl format. Only time I usually go tot the decks is to find out something I don't know.
  16. This arguement crops up in all topics discussed I think On a scene that is basically based purely on records, then if the DJ can't use these in their original format then IMO he (or she) shouldn't be up there. The are many out there who can do it properly and would do so given the chance. Anyone can DJ with cds, audio files etc and I don't tend to go dashing to the decks to see if its genuine or not, but I want to see and hear those who do it properly.
  17. As far as I know it's the same singer. Big Changer far far better record though, ripe for re-activation IMO.
  18. Yep, 7450 Jo Ann Garrett One Woman I'm A Now Girl (Do It Now) 7451 Sheryl Swope Can't Get Him Off My Mind How You Feel 7453 Sheryl Swope Run To Me Are You Gonna Do Right This Time 7455 Jo Ann Garrett I'll Always Remember Get Back 7456 Sheryl Swope One Moment Meet Me 7459 Oncoming Times If You Had My Love What Is Life Without Love 7462 Jo Ann Garrett Can You Deal With That Tell him I Love Him
  19. Hippo, I'll burn a copy of my mid-tempo effort off for you if interested, services rendered as they say
  20. Mansfield Woodhouse the Diane Lewis came out of. Butch wasn't very happy that Rob did them either.
  21. Ann King was a Guy Hennigan spin at Stafford Jas....covered as Marjorie Black. I also played this out during the 80's and hardly heard it since I sold my collection. See it on list farily often over here, should be about £80 IMO but it is rising to £100/£120 in some cases. Great record and a soundfile on it's way
  22. Sure I've seen this as high as £150 Andy, great record and getting popular by the looks of it.
