  8. Looking at ET's gaunt face and large eyes I'd say he's been on the drugs already...as for the record....Hmmm...Mello Souls, Diane Lewis, Timmie Williams.......
  9. I've got this too. Bought when first released.
  10. Bernard Williams and Original Bluenotes on Harthon
  11. Not sure as about 2nd issue as such..me thinks just picked up by, or a deal sorted with Atlantic for distribution??? Seen quite a few of the first design too.
  12. £200, is that for an original or boot? Know of an original go very recently for £300. Price will soon be £400 IMO at this rate.
  13. Anyone got an MP3 of Betty Willis version of Gone With The Wind???? As for what got me...haven't a clue. Usual route...Motown, youth Clubs stuff, older lads at school with tape decks. left school and started work, borrowed a guy's collection and haven't looked back
  14. Yes it is. Mate of mine went and bought this thinking it was one of the NCS Club DVD...wasn't too happy when I pointed out who did it
  15. After listening to the live sessions over the weekend there was one clip thats been bugging me for two days...could I hell as like remember. Just been put out of my misery by a mate......Ernest Sparks - I'll Be Glad - Soul O Sonic. Not very often thats heard out nowadays.
  16. I had a great time listening to the live stuff over the weekend. Cheers Hippo
  17. Lawrence and The Arabians is right..it's on Hem. Can't help with the tape tracklisting but if you do get the listing together might be able toi help with soundfiles for your cd.
  18. I think you're right about not Northern Soul....
  19. As well as dancing, buying records, chillin in the tea room we always used to find time for a game of cards in the balcony or behind curtains strangely enough Good thing about this wonderful scene...we're all always learning Lifeline Saturday?
  20. Know the record jamie but I'm surprised you don't, especially as it was made big by fellow Leeds spinner Pat Brady...."Lee Blackmore & Soulsearchers" Big in the 80's...especially at Bradford
  21. Without listening which Otis Lee Track?
  22. Anything by Jesse Davis
  23. I can't remember last one I saw for sale Grant. As for a bench mark??? Well Dottie and Millie should be less thasn a ton in terms of rarity, used to be in every box for around £15 but it's demand pushing up the price. Dottie and Millie and Walter B don't come even close IMO in terms of rarity. If Walter B was indemand who knows what price it would be????
  24. Cheers Nick looking forward to it. Dunno what the guides book it at but like you say I bet it's less than Dottie and Millie but it's one you rarely see! Agaoin like you say definately one of the under appreciated tracks and maybe one rripe for re-activation????
  25. After listening to Guys Stafford set has anyone got an MP3 of old GuyH spin Walter B & Untouchables - I Can't Stop Loving You - Apollo? Great stuff that IMO puts most to shame these days. Will listen to Pat Bradys this afternoon if I get the chancve. Pat IMO had a set to rival anyone back in the 80's
