  1. Can remember you having it Pete. Been a few on e-bay since too
  2. Superb record. Have you interviewed him yet? If so wouldn't mind hearing it???? Was covered as James Conwell if thats any use to you. Very briefly covered as Tommy Navarro first, well thats what he announced it as (Colin Law that is) at one of the Winding Wheel nighters. The flip was also played as well.
  3. Old Colin Law biggie from '87 (one for Kev's topic elsewhere on site).
  4. Andy Dyson did the cut for Tim when he got one for himself. The LP Dave mentions is on P-Vine. Apparently there is a modern version too on one of the Pen Pad Lp's although not sure if I've heard it or got a soundfile somewhere, will have to have a look when I get chance.
  5. I have somewhere on CD.
  6. My Place In The World not bad either, got spins in the 80's.
  7. Was totally forgotten about, never heard anywhere till Butch started spinning it again, demand soared then
  8. Posted You Can Get It Now in the sounds section Andy
  9. Because the simple reason that if a record is unissued and exists on studio tape only then the only way you are gonna get to hear it is via CD or a cut. Boot legs usually exist on an origianl 45 or original studio acetate etc etc ...........
  10. If it's an unreleased track don't see why not (as long as they seek permission from the cd producer IMHO), how else you supposed to hear it played out.
  11. Supposed to be, can't remember them winning owt worthwhile though
  12. MP3pro Pete, about the same size as an RM but similiar quality to a full MP3. All I convert to now.
  13. I've an excel file of old sales, mainly rare stuff, just tried to upload but SS won't allow excel files.
  14. Click on advanced search, enter the details of item you are looking for, tick completed items and search. Doesn't go back to day one , few months only I think.
  15. Would like to hear the different take John
  16. Gotta agree with you there Christian, Oslo soul scene thriving and full of young uns
  17. The criteria mentioned was 4 or more Christian, someone named 4 by Roy so why can't he win?

  19. haven't a f***** clue
  20. What should you paint next........well seeing as this is a forum for all things soulful, how about something soulful
  21. The vinyl is see through dark brown. The original has a AR in a circle stamped in the run out.
  22. God father Of Soul my arse.....personally can't stand the over-rated :graywanker: A few half decent tracks then a pile of trash IMHO Come to think of it can't think of a few Anyone mentioned Chuck Jackson?
  23. Dunno where you mean Billy? There was Whitchurch?
  24. I was DJing that night. Ray and Snowy taped it all, I've copies somewhere and the flyer. Was a good night especially when the coppers walked in, not the squad just local bobbies
