There's probably more copies of Eddie Parker out there than most realise. Most of big hitters who Dj have a copy. Still a mighty rare record and very hard to find The copy on JM auction nbelongs to a dealer from Canada so I'm told by reliable source The Bobby Rich belongs to one of those in the list mentioned

would say almost catagorically that this isn't genuine Motown acetate. One of those done in the 80's probably.

  10. Plent y of tedious mopments for most of us at work Kitch may have played it also, will have a look at playlists when I get the chance.
  11. We discussed this on thje RSF some time back... the X-4353/X-4354 is the first press. The record was released May 19, 1966 according to label files.
  12. Have heard them both but not side by side so didn't take much notice regarding the difference. Wouldn't mind mp3 to compare
  13. ET-100-A X-4700 ET-100-B X-4701 Gt.4 01-A X-4353 GT.4 01-B X-4354
  14. The Moments on Hog have been spun at Lifeline by both Tim brown and Mick H.
  15. I have one but it's on main pc which I've put away while house redecorated, having to use laptop for now. Will have a look through cds and see if can find it but nothings where it should be right now
  16. issue rarer IMO.
  17. Lifeline is all about what Winstons says...the music..but it's progressive soul and not the same old same. Lifeline has proved that you can play something different and fill the dance floor.
  18. Who said owt about ban them? not me. Lifeline played soul on the funky side though
  19. Maybe you should take up promoting Janine
  20. just a year or so less than you
  21. I agree entirely Winston but only playing devils advocate and trying to see this from a different perspective.
  22. I read that and have to agree with him. Have seen youngsters having a reet old laugh at the attire of some folk at soul nights........
  23. Not read all the thread Win just picked up on one or two posts...I'll shut up I agree Win youngsters don't give two shits about rules. But most of the problems I've seen on dancefloors with regards to drinks come form older piss heads who just happen to stumble on a night oout where the bar is open later. Mopst of the times youngsters have transgressed I've seen soulies have a quiet word and problem solved, once or twice a threat issued and then the problem solved But are there that many youngsters to lay the law down too? There is a distinct lack of them at venues IMO and something needs to be done to attract them.
  24. Some of it's probably better than some of the shite played
