  1. There are as many venues down south playing so called tired and over played oldies as there are up t'north. And as for Mel Britt....sick of hearing it wherever in the country it's played. As good as it is, it is one example of a tired overplayed oldie IMHO.
  2. John Weston has been playing this for a good few years. Carl Underwood is on Merging.
  3. Robs probably reading this too
  4. yeah but it ain't default player...jet audio is
  5. Won't play for some reason  I'll bring me sunglasses for when your around then shall I
  6. First one won't download!!! Shite you say....hope I'm not gonna be subjected to this for the duration of the weekend or I'm kicking you out
  7. Should be about £20 although may have gone up a touch. Can still get it cheap on the bay.
  8. Would you play it then if Rob Thomas was on at the same venue?
  9. Agreed! you don't need plenty of money either...it just helps. Plenty of good cheap records better than the majority of the expensive ones IMO. I've heard some of the worst sets with records worth a fortune from so called DJ's who haven't a clue how to read the floor or make the set flow. It's just the fact they have a box of expensive records that got them up there.
  10. Overpriced £1000 of anyones money and considering some of the records that have been sold through JM and the prices it's cheap IMO.
  11. It doesn't even sound like them to my cloth ears
  12. Was told it was a Stafford spin whilst doing some research
  13. It ain't the Monzas. It's studio acetate on; and it does say summat on the label but wherther that refers to group, label or studio????
  14. That one of them, sure I got some others on cd somewhere.
  15. You do know it Kenny...Kitch used to play this a fair bit at one time.
  16. There's also a Detroit Versatiles, recorded on Staff which I'm sure is Detroit (Arabians also on label). Also know of other unissued Motown by the Versatiles.
  17. Came out twice. Once on Redd Coach and again on Delite on the flip of I Saw You There. The Delite copy would probably be in excess of 2k and the Redd Coach in the region of 5/600 IMHO. Good luck
  18. BTW the other side of the Otis Brown is just as good
  19. Of course I agree. It was a Saturday, I was stopping in (for a change) and I had nothing better to do
  20. kin ell you got further than me....I read the first sentence, hit the first link and though sod it, copied the link over here
  21. found it Mike, cheers
  22. Soundfile of the Mighty Chevelles anyone?
  23. I agree with ya Dave. With the exception of possibly one all the others wouldn't put themselves up there. They are like you, me and practically anyone else who goes to venues (or some that sit in their armchairs) in it for the love of the music....oh and a laugh
