  1. I've seen this for twice the guide prices of £75 (TB & Manship 2) Last one I saw was a ton.
  2. Yes you posted quite a few underplayed and under appreciated tracks in the sales section Christian. Especially that Royal Premiers
  3. Don't think I've ever seen it for that price. If the buyer did his homework or just looked about he'd get one cheaper. And Shifty must have been having a silly moment it's never been 30 quid. Sold mine for double that 12 years ago. Price hasn't altered to much since then either so I can't understand a dealer like Shifty letting it go so cheap
  4. F****** great record Burn Baby Burn Mark One reason not fetching what it should is it's probably not that well known to the majority of folk. Only Andy Dyson and John Philips now and then playing this down here.
  5. opinions are like arseholes....we've all got one
  6. yes I do and if someone has a different price is that two facts....or two opinions see ya tomorrow hopefully
  7. But that proof may just be another opinion and therefore not fact and if it's an approximate price then it can't be fact just an opinion God I'm bored
  8. Who decides it's fact?
  9. Seen a few the last twelve months or so...last one was £80 which I would have thought about right. Freddie North on same label I would have thought £150 (+) and thats rarer than RG. I think I listed one on one of Andy's list in recent months for £150.
  10. Just posted in the sounds section Pete
  11. Sidney Hall is superb
  12. Without getting off my arse and looking Is the flip Somebody Really Loves You? If so better side IMO.
  13. Ermmmm....probably cause it's got some soul in it and it ain't rock and roll or country as a lot of the crap masquerading as R&B is
  14. Must have posted at the same time Pete. Thats the rarer IMO, yellow label, blue writing.
  15. Always thought the yellow and blue label copies are the rarer.
  16. I would have thought the studio would have cut an acetate upon recording? Whatever the source Colin Law was spinning this years before it surfaced on Soul King. According to Ron Murphy there should have been 8 releases on Gold Soul, three were pressed then a fire wiped out the ARP pressing plant losing in the process 5 releases...The Metros, Nelson Saunders and Lafayette Vaughn amongst them.
  17. Dunno Trev...memory bit clouded about who put it out. Name of label suggests CK.
  18. Thought it was Rod Dearlove and Tim Brown????
  19. It was found by Ron Murphy when he found some tapes that came from the Terra Sherma studios. Old Colin Law biggie few years before it was pressed.
  20. It was an unisued cut, released in the early 90's on soul king
  21. Like you say the flip is good if not better and got spins in the 80's. Been a tape swappers fave for years. £250 tops IMO.
  22. Irene & Scotts - I'm Stuck On My Baby Dedications - Ain't A Bit Sorry
  23. and I never managed to buy you both that drink I promised Next time I see you both
  24. Big Dee Irwin - You Satisfy My Needs
