  1. too quick It should be slow and painful
  2. I'd have to say Mello Souls...everything you want in an uptempo adrenalin (or should that be amphetamine) fuelled northern record IMO. It's got everything from the intro to the price tag and rarity!! Also Group feat Cecil Washington...I Don't Like To lose
  3. loved this the first time I heard it and it just gets better and better IMO
  4. Here's the flip I lifted from e-bay when I took the scan of the other side

Thought I'd got a scan of the sleeve but it's not on the PC...here's the red vinyl copy though....
  6. I can see where he's coming from though, why defend someone who appears to be nothing more than a con man? You are the only one who thinks he's cosher! Everything about him is not right, even down to his taste in screensavers and cook books
  7. Discussing this on the RSF. He spent a large amount on 3 records all from unregistered users...2 from Italy. Apparently the person pushing up the price on the Velours is from Italy, joining only 6 days ago. Don't think I'll be spending any money with him
  8. I know a dj who paid £2500 never mind $'s. Are those $'s Australian?
  9. This is a scan of the previous copy of the Blenders to go through e-bay. L:ook at the gap down the right and at the bottom and the top is just missing. Same scan IMHO

came out on red vinyl on Dynamic. Also a picture sleeve to go with it.
  11. Not listened but reading Seb said it was James Gadson - Got To Find My Baby - CREAM. Will have a good listen later.
  12. and James Dockery went for about the same too...£761 to be exact
  13. saw one a while back in a box and sure it had £800 on it.
  14. Guess your right Trev. Can remember this first being played and didn't really take to it then......the years since haven't done a deal to change my opinion. Would be boring if we all liked the same Good bargain tho' @ $50
  15. Some people got more money than sense Don't think I know the other side...is it any better than "The Picture"
  16. on Jamie......it's all coming back now
  17. Barbara Lynn I think
  18. Dunno why it was covered in '90. had this on tape since around '87/'88 (pretty sure too, i'll see if I can find the tape) under it's proper name. Always a steady £30 record and can't image why this would fetch what it is now....have seen at £150
  19. Cliff Nobles is great. Ditalians old Stafford spin for Guy and plenty of mileage in it today me thinks.
  20. Walter B & Untouchables - I Can't Stop Loving You - Apollo 9
  21. Stanley Evans - Unissued Phil La of Soul. There's a female version too....can't remember off the top of my head who it is
  22. JM #3 now includes his auction prices Can't say how the other prices between 2 and 3 compare cause I ain't got his latest.
  23. you said "as most people on here agree" and I replied not everyone. I think it's worth more than $200 these days.
  24. might be wrong Trev but 400 odd quid seems to ring a bell. Sure it was discussed at the time in the sales section????
  25. It was a mid 80's spin (Stafford etc) for Guy Hennigan.
