  1. The Primers did sound good...know Karen was well pleased to hear this one too.
  2. Nice one....I've got that one somewhere or is it is other one???? Might have to dig it out. Time for another break soon and will be getting the vinyl out C'mon whats everyone else listening to whilst skiving or just simply relaxing
  3. Kents Our Turn To Cry whislt trying to get some work done. Trouble is it's that good I'm not getting much done If you love your ballads & deep this one's a must Prior to this it was Eddie & Ernie...greatest soul duo ever Fair to say I've got fcuk all done
  4. Makes me mad when I see common records that should cost 30, 40 & 50 quid, some cases even less being bought and sold for a few hundred just cause it's the particular indemander of the month. Folk paying these daft prices just f**k it up for the average buyer.
  5. Agree that a record is worth what someone is willing to pay but it doesn't stop them being a muppet for paying a ridiculous price for certain records. You must have shook your head more than a few times when you see some off the prices paid for certain records, especially auction prices when if the buyer did a little homework and looked around he or she would get at fraction of price.
  6. just listened to other side, that ain't bad either
  7. Both used to be in every box you came across at one time...although not a lot appears to have changed. Still see both for sale fairly often. Paid 15 quid each I think but that was a few years ago. Saying that didn't sell 'em for much more mid 90's.
  8. I'll collect next time I'm over the wall
  9. Not bad that one Andy, gonna tell us who it is?
  10. one on JM site for £75
  11. sounds more like happen I gave you everything a woman could feel but the soundfile on hand is a bit dodgy...anyone got a decent quality mp3? maybe his bird's a lesbian
  12. Eh?? you sayin the lead is a woman?
  13. he didn't Teddy Randazzo (Alessandro Randazzo) did though produce and write for Little Anthony & Imperials. He's also white

  15. a boy, Jerome Anthony Gourdine born in 1941
  16. What was the "modern" in question that Sam played?
  17. The thing is though they all know that Sam is booked prior to the event, they all know what Sam plays yet still they moan...why not just stay at home, can listen to everything that they wish to listen to then
  18. Gotta disagree Sam's one of the best dj's about IMO and he should play whatever he wants, as should all the dj's. I thought Stoke now advertised itself as the biggest newies and oldies?
  19. You don't have to travel these days, often several venues within an hour of home, too many some would say and often lacking in quality...thats north and south.
  20. James Phelps the version for me although Satin has great vocals but lacks the backing vocals.
  21. Are we talking same record same artist but different takes, same record different artist or same backing different vocals or any of these??? How about The Look On Your Face...James Phelps, John Edwards, Satin, Nate Evans & Boss (or Mean Green) & Magnetics.....superb track
  22. Not been Col so can't really recommend on eway or t'other
  23. The south at the moment has nothing to off me musically that I can't already get or better up north I'm afraid....the north ain't that much better right now since Sheridans closed, left a large hole on the nighter scene. Had two cracking weeks though with the Middleton all-nighter and yesterday the Scotland vs. England all-dayer....looks like there is sod all on next week nighter wise Soul nites though we are probably spoilt for the number although not always choice
  24. the flip is great
