  1. Most dj's just cut a label out and stick it over the top (with sellotape) so as not to damage the origianl label. No point making a special label in photoshop, the only reason it's done is to hide the identity for a while. Four Vandals was done deliberately to dupe unsuspecting punters out of money (defraud them basically).
  2. just had a surf and found it, cheers
  3. anyone got an mp3 of the Tony Talent?
  4. not bad but nothing out standing.
  5. You might enjoy them but I've only listened once to them completely as they aren't that good IMO, white, garage and early doo-wop type stuff if I remember rightly...might have to dig them out again and have another listen From what I remember you'd struggle to make one decent cd from the pair....but don't let me put you off
  6. they didn't re-issue it...someone booted it original styrene boot vinyl

His "Suffering Soul" ain't too bad either.
  8. A penny over maybe but I wouldn't pay say twice as much as the record is worth. Certainly not for something that is around or has been around in quantity.
  9. Had one long term relationship that ended cause of the scene...she wasn't into the music but other than that the ex wife and former girlfriends have been into the music so not really any problems.
  10. we covered this a couple of months ago Deffo the 4 designs.
  11. I won't pay over the odds even though I can afford it. Loads of others out there at the right price.
  12. I bought both the Ol Virginia Soul releases and was really disappointed by both issues..... some terrible tracks on them. In addition to the tracks you mention (except the Dream Team) Barbara Stant is probably the best.
  13. The one on JM auction fertched just oer £600....not worth anything near that IMHO....in fact I wouldn't pay the £200 some are willing to pay with the copies knocking about but if folk are willing to pay daft prices............ Pile o' shite anyway
  14. There was one on a list last week I think...without looking it could have been Henry Atkinson.
  15. another site here ----> https://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/dead.nsf/pages/main got quizzes and all sorts on it
  16. think this is the one...just found it on RSF https://www.kser.org/shows/dusties/soulheaven.html
  17. another one here ---> https://elvispelvis.com/fullerup.htm
  18. that one goes by year only. did have a couple but lost the links in an upgrade some time back. it's on the RSF too somewhere but can't think where

Thats the one I've been spinning Dave...Just In The Nick Of Time. £56 cheap too......see it sold for £150 now. That's What I Want been a three figure record for some time now. See it regularly at £125.
  22. I would have thought that most who go to these shows would have most of the back catalogue
  23. financial is what I thought we were talking about The selling out of concerts makes little difference to the daily lives of ex Four Tops members and their families...the same can be said for the Temptations.
  24. continued success...have they had any in recent times
  25. I agree Brett...looking forward to spinning a few on t'radio Looking forward to all the guests. Not seen Alan Darker for yonks.
