  1. as far as they both know it's the only "known" copy but like already mentioned you don't know what's out there. If the real artist was revealed every one and his dog would be looking for it, Mick should at least get some exclusivity out of it before, or even if at all, everyone gets to know what it is and maybe have the chance to turn other copies up.
  2. Thats three of us then, not the worst but certainly not great. Can't see the appeal of this when there's so many good underplayed 45's out there.
  3. have they been out in 20 years Dan
  4. Soulsville Friday mate then a lazy night in on Saturday, due a rest
  5. Sorry mate won't be there. If I was I'd have to drink my pint first as wouldn't want to spill any Another time
  6. seen at £25 recently and thats over priced IMO
  7. Don't think it's crossover by anyones definition except yours.
  8. Great choice Jo, got quite a bit of turntable action in the 80's. Don't think heard out in anger for some time.
  9. sixties beat mod thing? you mean this was played in mod club first? think not, first played in soul club? It still isn't crossover.
  10. Tony Galla just uptempo northern.....never in a million years crossover. The crossover we refer to has as far as I know been answered on the other topic
  11. didn't know prices were stabillizing? still see plenty of evidence on a regular basis to the contrary, plenty still willing to pay daft prices
  12. Mick's currently spinning it covered up as Anita Humes
  13. I agree, just cause some don't wish to look back doesn't mean others can't. Haven't really got a particular year but the mid 80's on were great, so many great venues and dj's with an ear and the balls to play new or underplayed records, unlike today
  14. Who promoted Keele in '85?
  15. Car-A-Mel has two label colours if I remember rightly, pink and the more common orange. more or less from what I read......
  16. Odd copy of Don Gardner...and the rest Only know of the one COD's, Tim Brown has it. Plenty of other one off's too
  17. Values are asked for already elsewhere so wouldn't be any difference, as long as the post is relevant and useful can't see a problem, it's when it's one line posts full of crap thats the problem This is just an idea to make it easier for people wanting vlaues and not to clog up other parts of forum.
  18. I've actually seen the Royal Five sell for over a ton so it would be a pretty big range, still wouldn't give someone wanting a value much idea with a difference of say £65. If values all in one place a spread sheet pretty easy to maintain by someone and every now and then uploaded as attachment. You would need price for demo and issue as well.
  19. It would be easier if values were in one place IMO. That way if adding values to some sort of database or spreadf sheet it's easier to maintain with values all in one place. Could make it a sub section of look at your box then discussion wouldn't really be a problem?
  20. me too
  21. I've a scan of the Meridians on Parnaso somewhere, green vinyl. Gloria Taylor on Silver Fox, blue.
  22. you could be right. There's a photo of the advert somewhere on RSF.
  23. the last one I saw was the red vinyl with PS, sure there was black vinyl no sleeve same box for £75.
