  1. always was a £150 record, probably bit more these days. Think one went for quite a bit on one of the auctions? Only got a scan of the top side.....
  2. Heavy Sound Inc
  3. it's the flip side to Yes I Love You Baby on Top Ten.
  4. used to have a labrador called Tamla
  5. Never really plan a set, will take records out of the box, add a few etc then turn up with the box and play what I feel are right for the night, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Always have a idea of a few I want to play before hand but usually never works out
  6. I'm after scans or even original old flyers, particularly Bradford Queens Hall, Cletthorpes Pier & Winter Gradens, Wigan, Torch and Wheel etc, practically any old venue if at all poss. Cheers
  7. Had a quick dig in the cupboard, Ady Pierce's 1st list is attached (not as old as Marks lists and hope you can read them. Few bargains on there...James Wesley Smith £120, Ruby Andrews £8....about right in the real world page 2... page 3...
  8. its been said already but there's far better cheap quality records than expensive quality IMO, many that never see a dj's turntable either that would put many big ticket items to shame. You just need the patience to go looking. Todays cheapie = tomorrows big ticket item Buy what you like, want and believe in
  9. some would pay the same price for water damaged as you would mint. You see it every day where people pay mint prices for not so mint records I'd ask and probably get £350 nowadays for a minter I'm playing an unreleased version with an alternate vocal.
  10. $50 would have been a bargain Pete if complete Did you get owt back from the seller? Old Keb spin if I remember rightly from mid 80's.
  11. I've all Ady Pierces old lists from the early 90's and a few Andy Dyson lists from around 93. Haven't kept many from earlier years for some reason. I'll have a look when I'm back at home, maybe scan a few and post.
  12. £250 I would have thought.
  13. anyone got a sound file?
  14. here you go..... Harvey___The_Seven_Sounds___Glamour_Girl.mp3
  15. Old Silky Hargreaves cover up mid 80's. Probably why many at first assumed it was Detroit.
  16. Didn't Guy spin this at Stafford
  17. tough one to price I guess. haven't seen one for a while. used to see it and not too expensive but would say has risen a fair bit now. If the one on Montelle Michelle - All These Things is £100 (although it's on the net @ $100) then I would have thought the one a Whit a good bit more.......guesstimate £250...dunno if anyone can give an accurate price
  18. here's the inferior Utmost version (although neither that great ) Utmost___Whole_Lotta_Lovin____Lemco.mp3
  19. Here a copy, poor quality though, sure I have a better quality one somewhere, some one else may have if they wish to post. Old Rob Marriott spin. Explosive_Dynamiks___Whole_Lotta_Love___Lemco.mp3
  20. Rob Pheasant, not heard that name in years. Trent Sisters old Keb spin @ Stafford.
  21. over $5k Trent_Sisters___A_Letter_A_Day___Go_Gate.mp3
  22. Fantastic record, great video. It's Not The Same just edges it for me though No problems playing/watching, opens straight away here.
  23. Your right of course, I blame the fact that I'd just got up at the time of writing and the brain wasn't functioning properly
  24. Hear most of those apart from probably the Carol Jones. Johnny Gilliam not so much mind, neither the Harry Starr but have heard it few times recent months. The Earls a few DJ's seem to have this. Patty Drew a fair few seem to be playing this.
  25. Thats one of the ones I was trying to remember Marc......good record it is too IMHO Pretty sure there is another one too
