  1. I've seen it sell no problems at all for £250 and £300 in recent months. Mate had one at £200 and he could have sold dozens of times over. I've old lists of Andy Dysons from 1993ish and it was £15 on one of them. Wasn't this a one hit find (bit like the Ringleaders although nowhere near as many) with copies just being re-circulated amongst collectors and the market? Don't recall this being found in any great numbers for many years.
  2. I reckon you are right Byrney, I'll have to dig the Echoes out and check.
  3. Did Shaun run it before Guy? Can only remember Guy originally about '86/'87. MIck Lyons taking over in later years but the music just wasn't the same which was a shame as it was decent venue. Guy later went on to another Tony's Empress Ballroom in Mexborough, some great nights there too. Have the Old Grey Whistle Test on video, just copied it to DVD.
  4. I'll back you up Ken, Guy's nighters were top notch alweays the top dj's of the time. Flyer attached and another.....
  5. The Phil La Of Soul outing is called My Love My love/Go Go Annie (307). Little_John_Bowie___My_Love__My_Love___Phil_La_of_Soul.mp3
  6. his side-kick
  7. who's Joe
  8. have seen between £100 and £150
  9. It's one of those I got sick of hearing, seem to hear it at every venue Dunno why it still retains such a high price either, quite a few out there and fair few turned up not so long ago. Seemed to be a regular fixture on e-bay for a while.
  10. been playing this regular at venues like Sheridans and Middleton. Always someone comes up and asks what it is. Sheridans two once came up, found out what it was and went into the record bar and bought a copy. Old Magnificent Men cover up if memory serves me right
  11. been a couple or so over the last 12 months, around the $1000 mark.
  12. think listed O'Jays for £30 or £40 few months ago
  13. gotta agree, think it's great. Soundfile of the flip anyone (You Can't Destroy My Love), can't wait till the weekend to listen
  14. No real demand Mark as hardly anyone plays it. Only one I can say for sure is Andy Dyson. He also played it on Reflections radio show last year when we came north of the border and got some good feedback over it.
  15. would have thought at least twice that as already said very rare and hardly ever comes up for sale.
  16. I agree Ken me owd...have seen it sell for no problems at all @ £250 and £300
  17. championed this for some time now. gave it a spin on Mark's Solar show as well. Great choice
  18. slowie but a goodie, cheap as well.... Headliners___I_m_So_Tired___Val.mp3
  19. super record. one that seems to have been forgotten or neglected by dj's.
  20. Tommy Ridgely - My Love Gets Stronger - International City Faye Crawford - What Have I Done - RCA Eddie Whitehead - Just Your Fool - Blackjack
  21. Have seen the Herb Ward for around £300/£350. Not sure about Major Harris, not seen for sale for a while but would have thought soemwhere around the same figure, maybe more great record Would have thought there will always be a market for records like thesew while collectors of rare vinyl are still about.
  22. best venue I've been to Dave the Winding Wheel, such a shame about the squad Flyer from the first one......
  23. he did get the rides, they were/are(?) on Thorsby Market. Simon I think said he got £30k....I heard that just for the choice stuff, rest of collection still to go after that. Maybe Rob Wigley will know bit more. Mucky Duck, some great nights there, lethal dancefloor
  24. From that time Baz. Keb or Jimmy Wensiora
