  1. Vee Jay also went bankrupt in 1966....
  2. could be a legit re-issue if VJ did take over the ownership of Keyman.
  3. I've seen this feint stamp before, often only on one side. Never really bothered looking as boot is pretty obvious.
  4. Easiest way is Harthon is in a straight line on the boot with poor quality print. The original Harthon is curved and print quality is far better.
  5. It's at least £150 now but everytime one comes up for sale it goes pretty quick. It was selling for £150 over year ago so you can probably expect to pay more these days so.
  6. --> QUOTE(C.B @ Dec 29 2006, 02:12 PM) link Think the boot is on styrene? Both right, boot is styrene with original vinyl and released twice with two shades of red with the lighter shade of red being the rarer of the two presses. Vinyl thicker on 1st press too and logo is larger.
  7. There used to be a little section on the front page of the last five uploads, maybe if that was reintroduced it might help? What's happened to all the six packs, loads missing?
  8. the guy doing the take ten bit at the beginning sounds like the same guy on the unissued Willie Jones My baby Ain't No Plaything

  11. Barbara Mason is about right but I bet it soon goes at £40.
  12. £75 on JM's site.
  13. If I remember rightly the flip on the boot has Action Speaks Louder Than Words rather than Knock You out. The boot also has bevelled edge to the run in.
  14. New Girl - jimmie & entertainers - toddlin' town 12955 refosoul
  15. Eddie and Ernie isn't it? off the absolutely fantastic Kent CD, one of the best cd's I've got.

  19. did anyone record this show?
  20. It is a boot and if I remember rightly it's booted from an acetate that was found of the Lyrics original version, albeit slightly different mix I think. I've said since this record first discussed that it was a boot, avoid paying money for it and buy the Lyrics.
  21. There's 4(?) Barbara Stant releases on the label with My Mind Holds On To Yesterday being the best IMHO
  22. scans from Benji's site...
  23. Clyde Milton is on Disco Tac, isn't this diferent label to the Emanuel Lasky DT? or is it just a different label design? I know Clyde Milton involved with DT, producer etc.
