Detroit 45
Does he still spin it? Not heard Paul for a while but thought he sold it again unless of course he got another Great record, Andy Dyson (think I put it on one of his lists) sold one for around the £400 few months ago.

Suspicion Originals Unissued
This one doesn't sound like the one booted as Detroit Prophets, got that twangy guitar and more backing that the one I remember on the one sided white label boot, been a while since heard it as I sold it over 12 years or so ago. The take that came out on the This Is Northern Soul cd Chris King did is probably the best take about, one of the best Motown records as well, f*ck knows which cloth eared twat decided to leave it in the vaults

The Embers
I always thought and still think BMR are boots.

The Embers
EEE issueed a second time, not sure if legit re-issue or boot, the EEE is at the side with Ember Entertainmennt Enterprises across top if memory serves me right on the re-issue/boot. eEe on original across the top. Just look for the different flips if unsure.

The Embers
Yep, said that above BMR = Beach Music Records

The Embers
Aware of Love is the flip to a rarer issue of Crazy About You Baby.
-
The Embers
The original has We've Come A Long Way on the flip. It was re issued with Far Away Places on the flip and the label instead of EEE was Ember Entertainment Enterprises. There are also some Carolina boots on BMR.

Free Angela LP
she still is an activist, prisons or summat and lectures a bit. I read a biography of her on Wikepedia when this LP talked about some time ago.

Brooks O'Dell and Lula Reed
Both Standing Tall and Lively Ones got plenty plays during the 80's...like you say heard Standing Tall the more of the two, probably the better as well, although can't really say I hear either played out lately. The one on Gold Watch Your Step also had the odd spin as has You Better Make Your Mind Up (well I gave it the odd spin or two in the 80's and fab record too ).
