  1. The Mello Souls - We can make it - Mello. Not only has it a great intro but then crash bang wallop into one of the best Northern Soul records of all time.
  2. . Tis a rare record and doesn't crop up too often for sale.
  3. Are you saying there are more copies out there at reasonable prices or are you asking if there are more copies out there at reasonable prices? The question mark throwing me a tad. If you are saying there are more copies out there at more reasonable prices then where are they and how much?
  4. I've just checked the R&B indies and there's only that one listed in there.
  5. Only one I can think of is Delores Clark - Livin' To Please
  6. if you can't you can read online @ The Independant HERE
  7. maybe due to the fact it ain't indemand. plenty of stuff often ignored on the bay cause some top dj not playing it. I csan only go on what I've seen with this record, all the copies I've seen like I said sold for little effort, hightest price about 700. Pretty sure I've got this on tape from Cliff Steele fom mid 80's.
  8. its nearer 300/400 quid if you ask me, maybe more. every copy I've seen sold with no effort. I personally prefer it to Jimmy Reed Jnr but they are both great in their own respect, two different styles.
  9. its no where near as good imho
  10. can someone send these my way as well
  11. probably double the price you sold it for Phil. Have seen advertised for £1500.
  12. Been a couple on e-bay recently. One finished March 11th @ $1425. There was another last week I think, don't know what it finished at.
  13. Major Harris 300/400 quid fabulous oldie. Mr Big Shot, have seen around the £80 mark which when discussed some time back on here was considered daft as it was considered not that rare.
  14. description was vg++ few light paper scuffs, probably unplayed.
  15. Yeah he had Anthony Raye too, was there one or two more off the label amongst his sales as well?
  16. Some things are better left unsaid - ketty lester - rca
  17. I know it's rare but not that rare surely
  18. it's just gone for $4127 on the evil-bay
  19. Is it an acetate or vinyl? To be honest it's not a bad recordfing but I much prefer Sammy Ambrose version.
  20. I Do The Best I Can - jackie burns & the belles - mgm Guy's old Jackie & Gillettes cover up.
  21. the age shouldn't matter. will it play in a tape deck? if so it will transfer. Can't you copy the tape to another tape?
  22. might be wrong but don't think they are. Jack born in Philly and Rosalind was a Detroiter.
  23. Shades of Soul the best by far. Derek working on the next issue now. There's That Beat superb as well, the latest issue has some great articles.
  24. I've just asked him if he's serious, his reply should be interesting
  25. no wonder I'd forgotten it, it's terrible, the female vocals especially sounds nowt like Sam and Kitty either.
