  1. I know it but I can't bloody remember...it's beginning to bug me now. Arrrrrhhhh...those bloody morning after the night before
  2. I'd sell you one If I had one
  3. Two release on GoGate, Little John and Trent Sisters, one great one not so great IMHO but both damn rare.
  4. Connor Cagle & Bachalors Four - Always Let Your Good Side Show - Sunshine 1016M only heard of the one copy of this
  5. agree with you John about Sonny Fishback. There's a couple of other records out there by him but I'm a bit sleep deprived this morning and can't think
  6. I've never really taken to the record Pete for some reason. I know it's a Northern classic but for me the vocals just don't do it for me. Not saying either he's a non singer either, just on this record He's probably vocally far better than he sounds on Heartaches.....
  7. Yeah but it's far better than William Powell, especially the slower version. Another rare un thats bad....Don Hysong - Soul Searcher, sounds like a pissed up karaoke singer Not in the same class as Eddie Hughes version.
  8. cheers for that John. I still don't know of many copies of the Mary Hunt on Soul Mate I got off your auction???? Only know or heard of two other copies
  9. I think they should burn all copies of Wiliam Powell, it's poor, the bloke can't sing IMHO
  10. Swans Nitty Gritty on Dore, Little Johnny Hamilton Keep On Movin on Dore, both one offs aren't they. June Jackson on Musette, Junior McCants on King, both with just a couple of known copies. Kell Osborne - Law Against A Heartbreaker, just two known copies, both demos. Esther Grant, thought there were more than one of these, know Carl has a copy as well, or he did have one. Margaret Little, certainly four known maybe one or two more.
  11. Hi Sean mate. Any chance of a scan of the Quicksand, both sides? I've written the Kell Osborne story for a well known mag and the scans will look nice in the discography.
  12. know 'em both well. it used to be John, Rob and myself along with Graham and Dave Manlove for the first few years of the Hollingwood. I'd retired for the first time by the 8th if I haven't got any of the tracks on PC I can record from the tape when I find it and post then, unless someone else can post them.
  13. I've got that tape somehwere. I used to be resident DJ there at one time, up to about 95 I think and then the odd anniversary.
  14. seen it go for twice that Steve, whether it's worth that is open to debate.
  15. thionkin' about it...it could have been around 5,700 dollars. It's not on popsike, I'll have to check some notes. We were watching it on and off but missed finish I'd agree with Steve as well re. quantity.
  16. Last Appointments on Delite I saw was on e-bay, you probably saw it too, 3.5k wasn't it? Rarely turns up for sale, same for the Combinations.
  17. Could be samne group but Millage is Pittsburg and Kayham is West Coast I think. Soul Harmony Singles gives no details of the Kayham Captions.
  18. As far as Beat Ballads go, Alone With My Tears is as good as it gets
  19. Are you buying selling or just curious? Keep Away is also the flip to I Saw You there but a damn sight cheaper than the Delite release.
  20. Personally can't see any reason for doubling in value let alone more. SWONS as they say.
  21. Its on Roulette 7202. Its in my database at £75 but seen booked at £200. Flip is Trying to find a new love and date I have here is 1976.
  22. Rufus Wood, green with blue lettering seems to be original. Johnny Moore original is on styrene so it's a boot.
  23. thats easy, ones square and shows moving pictures the other comes in a glass I agree with the wearing of patches like you say Simon but some don't wear the badges but collect northern soul memorabillia...nowt wrong with that IMHO.
  24. don't think it was me Simon, know I have it on cd though but not on the PC. I've had a reformat over the weekend and not reloaded everything yet either. Agree its not that great either.
