  1. As for the Trans one supposedly being a legit reissue, why would they change the label name? It wouldn't be the first time the original plates have been used to make a boot/counterfeit, the Capitol boots, Jerry Cook etc spring to mind. The only ones I'd ever trust are the yellow and orange with the matrix stramp. Owt else is a counterfeit/boot/pressing/re-issue or whatever term you wish to use IMHO and should be treated as such and sold as such.
  2. Hi Mark, send Chico my best and wish him speedy recovery.
  3. Mb_s___Another_Day___B_Jet.mp3
  4. boots as far as I'm aware.
  5. Citations - To Win The Race Keep the Faith - Ballad £30 Chris Morgan - Who Am I - Bell £40
  6. sent you both, check your PM's.
  7. Which guide was it listed at £1500? it's not 2 or 4 of JM's guides? Can someone check guides 1 and 3? I bothered with it as I was spinning this out unaware of the typo and know a few who then picked up on it, one top dj paying a bit on ebay for it too.
  8. If It Wasn't For The Children. I did say it was cheap but it has fetched well into the $100's two or three times on ebay, $710 dollars the highest I saw it go for. I've seen it sell for well over a £100 as well several times.
  9. around £100
  10. here you go...... Revealers___They_Had_A_Party_At_Watergate___Paramount.mp3
  11. Teacherman and t'other side escapes me at moment....on Cross Eyed Bear. Saw one not so long ago for £500 I think.
  12. it should be in the sound section, I'm sure I posted this long time ago. If you can't find it I''ll sort you one.
  13. the demos are issues with just a simple stamp reading Nev's post. Maybe because of the fault they were stamped and used as demos to avoid selling faulty goods.
  14. Neil Kimble a recent example of a fairly cheap if not widely known or much exposed record that shot up. Went for over $700 not so long back on the bay.
  15. Well the nighter scene knew it before then, Butch and others already mentioned had been playing it a good while, long before some mentioned in these pages.
  16. JIMMY BURNS ARTHUR WRIGHT
  17. I guess so and I guess not
  18. Haven't seen Pitfall mentioned yet. Magic record
  19. check your PM's for the Clay Brown.
  20. I've only ever known it as the Vanguards, can't remember it ever being covered up and certainly known the record since the 80's, as have others. It's already been mentioned as a £15 front page focus for Rod Dearlove back in the mid 80's. Then again I don't think I heard Paul DJ back then although I think I might have that tape somewhere, certainly a couple kicking about from Paul as I remembner doing the odd tape swap but haven't a clue what is on them.
  21. can't think why it was covered unless for the benefit of the scene returnees around that time. It was already known and a big spin at nighters.
  22. Who knows but you don't put "whatever your willing to pay" on a sales list do you Personally I wouldn't want the Southbound Freeway press, I'd want one with the proper label on
  23. JM guide lists it at £500 which IMO is far more realistic value than the popsike value. Too many seem to be using popsike these days to price records when often the auction price is far from the discs actual worth (both under priced and over priced)!!
  24. would have thought it was worth that in pounds let alone dollars. Popsike/ebay not always a true reflection of a discs value.
  25. who was the tape off Marc? Don't ever remember this being covered
