  1. Hi Simon, it was known about before then, John Vincent told me he offered it to Richard Searling at Wigan and Richard said it was too good for the Northern crowd and gave it back It then finished up with Butch. Can't remember if I went to Lincoln Drill Hall or not Did one niter in Lincoln around then although it could have been bit later Nu-Rons has been known about a few years but hardly played, I can't even remember how different it is it's that long since I heard it.
  2. The Dynamics on Douglas is a different group to the RCA Dynamics.
  3. If only you'd said earlier, you could have saved two pages of going round in circles
  4. cheers chaps, did have the FF years ago and sold it for £75 mid 90's. Seen a copy what I thought cheapish and just wondering todays value. Might take a chance on the David Ruffin too as that was only 6 quid. If they are still there
  5. The Tamla UK LP of the Fantastic Four, the one that has Can't Stop Looking For My Baby on it, how much please. Also the David Ruffin lp, forget the title but it has Walk Away From Love. Never heard the lp, what's the other tracks on it like?
  6. I've read nothing to say otherwise (apart from Pottsy's post), done by the label owner apparently reading this thread, still a re-issue whoever done it.
  7. it's a re-issue done especially for the scene to cater for so called demand. I still wouldn't buy one.
  8. Doris Smith on Limelight and would cost a few hundred. Books at £400.
  9. I think there's a difference between vg and vg++, I'd call it excellent
  10. It is, one here for sale.
  11. See the Golden Triangle version far more than any other. Over the years I've seen fewer Cameo Parkway issues than the 1st SOS issue. But in recent times I've probably seen as many 1st SOS as I have CamPark SOS.
  12. I was thinking the very same thing.
  13. "I'm gonna keep playing the f*cker till you do dance" Remember when he first started playing this, cleared the floor everywhere. 3 or 4 times at 100 Club once in the 80's.
  14. John Andrews I dunno, it's British Keni Lewis unissued but was booted a few years ago.
  15. The one with girl backing (Cameo Parkway distributed) is the rarest.
  16. I can't see the point in or any need for ++ or +++, it's either vg or a bit better (one +) or excellent IMHO. Think people use multiple to make a record appear better than it really is.
  17. your probably right, not a rare record.

  19. Jesse James I've seen priced at a ton recently.
  20. me too, I would say £50 plus nowadays. Have seen at £75.
  21. personally think it's as already said, simple case of using whatever label colour they had at the time of print run.
  22. Were they done by the original owner of the Trans American label or by someone in possesion of the original plates? I still find it odd they changed the name? I'm gonna need some more convincing that they are 100% legitimate,
