  3. The Rays were Walter Ford, David Jones and Harry James and of course Harold "Hal" Miller. Blessing In Disguise is pretty good group soul but Love Another Girl probably the best with some great vocals from Hal Miller.
  4. a lot rare as hens teeth. well into 4 figures I would have thought.
  5. It's on Amy and around £150.
  6. There's deffo 3, I might be one short myself. I know Andy Dyson had some copies but which ones and if he's still got them not sure. You can try e-mailing him Dysonsoul@aol.com
  7. We had Angie Stone on in the car t'other week. Got the Drizabone, Sounds Of Blackness. Another couple of good ones from around that time are Solo and Jesse Graham.

  12. original the matrix is stamped in run out, boot scratched.
  13. Yours is vinyl with a moulded label. The boot was on vinyl and a white demo. Original has the delta number 59636 in the run out groove. Try and "flex" styrne and it will more than likely break.
  14. thankfully its unreleased and IMHO it's terrible...she murders Tommy Ridgely's version
  15. probably, if not could be Luv'H.
  16. the look alike boot if I remember rightly has Taking My Mind Off Love on the flip which actually came out on Whip. I'll Get Off At the Next Stop is the flip to the Fee release.
  17. My mother went into HMV for a cd, and they wanted £8 just to try and get a cd that wasn't in stock. She would lose the £8 if they couldn't find one. I told her to tell them to b*llocks. I found brand new one in the states and it was cheaper with postage than HMV! They deserve all they get the high street stores. I read an article other week that vinyl sales are at their highest for years....could they make a comeback? I buy all mine online or at a venue.
  18. It's not just down to mp3's though the decline in shop cd sales though Pete, many cd are now bought on line as they are often cheaper and you don't have to get out of the chair to buy them
  19. blue is the second issue after red, can't recall ever seeing yellow text issue see the blue text for £30/£40 red for around £60.
  20. I've been playing the Oliver Norman for sometime now and one or two on here picked it up since. Does appear on ebay but price slowly crreping up, last one I saw nearly $150 and there's been another since but don't know what it went for. Fab record
  21. Marvelettes - Your Cheating Ways
  22. listed one t'other week for £80 (I think)
  23. Vernon Garrett - Angel Doll - Venture
  24. I always record to wav and for saving convert to an mp3 of 224kbps, thats a compression rate of 6:1 I think off top of me head When posting on places like here I convert to mp3 pro with a bit rate of 40kbps.
