  1. listed one for sale few months ago for I think £200. Not the best version
  2. Kimtone definately Atlanta. Kellmac for those that don't know Chicago.
  3. Kin ell.......soo many good ones from him...Mello Souls has to be number one I think, closely followed by Diane Lewis, Parliaments, Mac Staten etc etc......
  4. Hasn't there been a couple up for sale recently, Tim's auction and ebay???? There was another one on ebay I'm sure with set price of 6k but don't think it went.
  5. the link is under my name but here it is again..... https://lifelinesoulclub.com/sounds.htm
  6. The Lifeline web site has has a few sounds added. The Ralph Jackson (probably his hardest to find???) is well worth a listen for 70's fans and for the 60's fans the Charles Anthony on Filmtown. For the anoraks there's the slower rarer take of ther Promatics I Think I'm Gonna Let You Go up there alongside the "normal" dancer take. More to be added so keep checking!!!! Thanks for looking and thanks to Christian Brodsjoe for the work on the site
  7. played this one out a few times, agree with you will have it's day one day!!!!
  8. If this one is anything like the last one then it'll be another great read. Two great articles in the last one (Harthon and Mike Terry).
  9. Heard so many great sets over the years and find it hard to single one out but one that sticks in the miond from recent years is from the first Lifeline All-nighter @ Sheridans, Butch. Simply awesome!!! He showed that night why he is the best.
  10. fantastic record....had some nighter spins of late as well.
  11. I was told there was a third take I was told the difference of all three takes but struggling to remember the third.
  12. 150 way too cheap. £500 bout right IMO.
  13. In my opinion if it's unissued then fine, play the bugger but if it's had a release and is in the boxes of DJ's then I wouldn't consider playing it out poersonally.
  14. the demo would probably be white but would be marked as a demo in some way, sticker, stamp, "x" on the side they are promoting etc. I would assume they would avoid tax on demos.....not being an expert on customs and excise I'm not really sure, some one else might be able to give a more definitive answer. The record still commanding a price of around £1000 but think thats way too much IMHO considering the amount for sale in recent times.
  15. was it Singing Sam who appeared at Morcombe? Dressed in all white suit and white stetson? Frances Nero on as well????
  16. 400 to 500 quid
  17. if you can't gauge what the dancers want and adjust your set accordingly then you shouldn't be djing. Thats not to say you have to take the "safe" option either as too many IMHO so called DJ's seem to do.
  18. whether a DJ dances or not shouldn't matter as long as the DJ is doing the business.
