It's ok people saying prices are coming down but many of those that are high, especially e-bay are bought by bidders who haven't done their homework. Maybe many prices that are supposed to be coming down are just falling back to the level they should be at and not the over inflated level caused by those who haven't a clue or just didn't care what the real worth was, they wanted the particular record whatever the cost!!!! The market saw a huge influx of people who returned to the scene/collecting with plenty of ready cash after paying off the motgage and kids growing up, maybe they are finally realising they don't have to pay top dollar for records? Maybe they are finally doing their homework and looking round for records. Time and time again we've questioned the wisdom of some purchases on the likes of e-bay. Maybe those who's purchases have been questioned are finally waking up!!

How many is quantity exactly? It was about £400 before quantity turned up so would be interested to just how many this guy has?

Thats over priced if you ask me in nthat condition, I'd only pay that for a minter, mthen begrudgingly. How many copies of this are there about, loads I'd say, certainly more than the Symphonics

I've just picked up A House On Fire - The Rise And Fall Of Philadelphia Soul. Not read it yet as astill reading a previous book but from the snippets I've read it looks a very good read. Chicago Soul by Robert Pruter is one of the best books you can buy.

Your right about the Philips Intentions, the group along with Dennis included his brother Ronald, Brian Humble & Jack Valatti plus some others too as there are seven members in the photo. The Intensions on Moneytown included LJ Johnson, Venus Mayes and a Young Punkin' Maybe Boba can add more to this.

I reckon it was in Rushden, Castaways where we met although we'd been in same venues prior to that of course but we didn't know each other really before then. I stopped at Gary and Floyds that night. It's not that easy to find either. Some turned up couple years back but haven't they all dried up and disappeared into collections? Have seen it all prices from £600 upwards but like I said doesn't turn up like it was.

I thought it was about 300 to 350 nowadays depending on which one you bought? Like Mark says, used to be loads about at one time. Some prices coming down, some going up, swings and roundabouts

Intensions on The Uptite/Uptown/Kent different group to the Moneytown/Bleu Light/USA group. The flip Just Can't Win is a version of the Mandells I Just Can't Win, diffrent backing though. Think the backing to the Mandells is used about 4 times, on The Intensions I Love You on Blue Light for one.
