  1. Magic record and better than his more expensive one IMHO
  2. I know crazy innit mate although if remember rightly it's vinyl rather than the usual styrene or a description along those lines on the auction? Seen it for a lot more as well! I simply bought the lp for a fraction of the price!

  4. came out twice Harry. 001 and 003. Think 001 is the take to have. Different flips too. Think You Said is the top side on one release and flip on other, will have to check.
  5. sometimes
  6. The last 20 years it has been Butch, and more recently Andy Dyson IMHO. Sam, no disrespect has picked up a lot of stuff after it's already been played out. Sams probably been doing it longer than anyone else who's still DJing nowadays I would have thought and he still does the business for me, although one or two of the newer things leave a little to be desired But these days I still say it's Butch and Andy Dyson, streets ahead of anyone else with the newies! Over the years I would have thought though Richard Searling must be up there and no one's mentioned Pat Brady? Also Guy and Keb went through a few records between them
  7. forgot this one....
  8. I've found some too, one for a nighter, forgot all about that
  9. in the R&B indies listing it's under the years 74-76 but that book, as good as it is, isn't always right. Play the bugger anyway and stop worrying about the year
  10. Yes I think she is Cliff. I've read somewhere as well one and the same.
  11. DJ'ed there I think Hardly missed any. Downstairs had a taped together hardboard dancefloor at one time. Dust two inch thick on the beams and spiders webs some people never escaped from I've some flyers somewhere I'll see if I can find them. Donm't remember them being all-nighters though, no there was some late finishes.
  12. whats the LP worth and anyone got one?
  13. I thought it was a £800 record or there abouts???? first release (001) the one to have isn't it?

  19. Magic record, was covered up by Guy. Half these mentioned on here bit quick for beat ballads.
  20. I rarely look at .co.uk, don't get the time to keep up with it all.
  21. James Brown certainly involved as was Henry Stone, distributed by TK productions. Like Steve said few Dj's have played this out.
