  1. there's plenty of time left yet
  2. simple solution book one top dj and forget the rest book others who won't play the same records
  3. There is a video that was kicking about of some footage of the old Yarmouth weekenders, wonder if anyone filmed Ray's performance or any other for that matter, only ever remember seeing footage of dancers.
  4. I'm wondering now if thats the one I saw I'll check later hopefully and find out for sure???
  5. I'm reading a book at minute Dave, last book of three but heavy going taken me months and only half way through think I might dump it and take this one to work with me, away a bit this week
  6. There's a superb version of Come On With It by Lew Kirton, one of my favourite 70's tracks, sublime piece of soul.
  7. sory mate, nope, had one in me hands though once....not much use I know
  8. as long as some thought and imagination goes into the sets and they "flow" I couldn't care less who is DJing. Obviously need couple of big names but the rest can be made up of residents who don't follow the flock and upcoming guests of the same ilk. You can keep those who throw money at records and just play the big money indemanders....hot boxers!! I want some imagination and bit of thought put into a set.
  9. I've got this book but haven't read it yet must dig it out and read the bugger!!!
  10. I would have said somewhere in the region of £300 to £350, thats probably too much Now if it had been the Radio City release I could well understand someone paying a bit more.
  11. Nope there is as said a french one...forget label off top of me head and Cliff Camfield has a non UK one, could be the French one or another, US possibly????? I forgot what he told me his was as he played it at Burnley after I posted the track on here in refosoul.
  12. I was referring to the pink ones when I quoted what I thought they are worth...
  13. bit more than £30 IMHO, thought about double that???? Used to spin the Pretty Girl side out years ago, magic record.
  14. T'was Kitch who played it. Guy used to spin this mid 80's as well.
  15. some of them more realistic yes....I don't consider Little Tommy to be a realistic price...but then again not me spending the money. Sure he would have got next one on ebay for lot less than that.
  16. I've seen it go for various prices, from around £50 to £150. Personally thought it was worth around £75 but books at twice that in the JM guide.
  17. It's on one of the For Millionaires Only cds, 3 or 4.
  18. and Little Tommy fetches nearly twice as much, summat not right in this strange world of northern soul!!!! I know which one of the two I'd want I'd then go out and spend £20 on Luv'H, better record for me than BCYS.
  19. I rate it around £400, tough one doesn't come up fro sale to often, I'd have bid at that price, in my top ten probably!!! And Little Tommy over £1k
  20. you go in Jock and right click on my name and select listen to users broadcast.... Kev (Munchkin) on after me by the looks of it
  21. dunno mike got the names I think, Ana I heard???
  22. who's up for this again this week, I'll kick off again unless told differently at 7.30pm. See if we can beat the 27 in last week listening....
  23. I thought I'd got Maralynn on PC as well but can't find it. Might have it on cd will have a look when I get chance.
  24. John Manship has the UK release for £150. Know there's a rare french release, is there a US release.
