Last year I saw field after field of wildflowers, more than for many a year, nowhere near the same this year, the wet weather probably has a lot to do with it

I recently moved and for a few months everything got ignored a little, going through the motions in the gym, no hiking. Now I'm settled back with at least one 5k run a week, back hiking and gym. Need to do some swimming too.

Auctions are never the best gauge of any current price. It only takes two or three to get the red mist descend and it can go way out of control. Ebay many dealers and collectors no longer use it so again not a great idea of a current price and that is where popsike gets its results.you are forgetting the massive resource that is Facebook as well. Great history of sales on there in the various groups.

Popsike doesn't tell the whole story regarding sale s of rec rods so cannot make a judgement about rarity going by sales on there

How rare is it though, been plenty of copies sold over the years. It wasn't that long ago it was 3/400 quid. The price every time one comes up for sale since just seems to double. I can remember the bewilderment when it fetched about 700, then £1k. There is no logic to these prices.

I'd have said £1500/£1800. Its sold for more than 1200 last few years

Are record companies running out of ideas, if it all doesn't sound the same it is inferior or no better than the original covers? Where is all the new dancers, it all seems to be walking pace low rider material or white acts trying to be black. Has all the unissued material dried up?

Mark got the Delites acetate, Lifeline I think the first place he played it after getting it. Lebaron Strings was Guy, Jimmy Sherman was Andy Dyson

I was sat having me dinner with the cab door over and I heard it at the side of cab, I'd never seen one that big before.

Wherever they are from, I've seen a few this year, big buggers, biggest I've seen

I think it is the Asian Hornet that is becoming more prevalent, invasive species and two or three time the size of our hornets.

Load of Starlings on my back, had a dozen young on the guttering last week. Lot of Sparrows too.

Being on the road all day most days, last summer I saw a large increase of splats on the windscreen which was hugely encouraging. This year hardly any.

It is largely due to the constant rain we had for almost a year until the early summer. Many caterpillar larvae failed, food for many birds, blue tit nesting largely failed with nonfood for the young. Butterfly’s the same the rain had a massive effect, they have shown a bit of late but nothing like the numbers there should be. but blackbirds and robins that feed on worms etc have thrived because of the wet damp weather. when hiking, the peat bogs have not dried out this year, still very boggy and still water running off the moors and hills, can see big problem with floods if we have an autumn, winter and spring like the last couple.
