and the rest, bet it's gettin' on eight years or so now.

Big Tim is the one Butch plays? Brilliant it is, as is the Roy Roberts, known aboiut the Roy Roberts a while as they came from Andy Dyson. Andy Dyson's Herb Johnson cover up, great R&B/Northern. Dave Thorley's Arthur Prysock If I Were A Boy.

I was told about these acetates by someone who bought some, Original looking label peeled off to reveal the acetate supplier or something like and they proved to be recently made. I did ask him about this in another topic but he side stepped the question if I remember rightly. If you remember when this came about he didn't come on Soul Source for ages. Can't remember exactly what he said but sure he said summat like they should be lucky to get unreleased material.
-
Correct, Brunswick bought by Nat Tarnopol from Decca, it then moved to Chicago.
-
Liberty is West Coast. Coral, Decca and Brunswick the same company.
-
Citique is East Hartford, Connecticut. Shrine still on the list, its a Washington label. How about Columbia, Golden Crest, Goldie.
-
I'll start it off then Scepter Wand Garrison GSF RCA ABC Old Town Barry Amy Mala Bell
-
Mid-Town, is there a Chicago one. No the NY and Detroit? Other two added, update to follow.
-
Can anyone confirm??? fine by me Marc, I'll add it to the Chicago if not already there.

late 60's according to info have here.
-
I would have thought with the internet you had a better understanding of what was out there now as more people on a worldwide scale involved. I mean when a rare record comes on the market every man and their dog knows about it.
-
as well as the MandM label from the 60's there's another (M&M) 80's that maybe Detroit according to R&B Indies, Gemni, Lamont Dozier, Special Delivery & The Enforcers on a label distributed by R&L Distribution Co, Inc. Where is the M & M Mind and Matter from????
-
35....quiet night then I would have thought that about average now???? anyone with nowt better to do counted the amount of events every week
-
what's how long we've been into Soul Music got to do with it? Have you had a break from the scene? If so I was doing two nighters a week along with two or three soul nights and the all-dayers, all the early weekenders, whilst you were having a break...so bloody what who cares, couldn't care what you do every week to be honest. I bet many of the places you go to are hardly concerned with the likes of the records I mentioned and are probably gonna play what you were dancing to whilst I had me head stuck in the railings Oh and in answer to your question probably yes, I mean you're even named after a flintstone character Oh and not all those records have been around yonks
