  1. There's a boot 5 cd box set kicking about. Not sure but might have been a volume 2 box set as well.
  2. Andy Dyson as well and I think Mick H.
  3. Pretty sure you are right Steve. Got it somewhere on a tape.
  4. there's 11 now....they are all over t'internet free if you know where to look.
  5. I've some live tapes I did back in the 80's ('87 I think) in the garage. I'll dig them out and transfer to pc when I get the chance and post 'em on here.
  6. Depends what you mean by select few, sure there will be well over 300 listening to it Saturday night
  7. Yep there's an issue, the owner is on here too.
  8. I knew Butch involved somewhere down the line.
  9. The Trannels I think he got from Butch.
  10. The only person I've heard play this is out is Andy Dyson. I can remember we went to the Locarno and this is the only record we played, all the way on repeat
  11. I remember when you first heard this Mace...."What the f*cks this Chalky" "Can't tell you" I replied Don't think Andy had thought of a cover up name back then Gotta agree when you say gonna be the biggest record of 2009....heard nowt better!
  12. it's unissued whoever it is. Continental Showstoppers I've seen various prices depending on who is selling £100 to £175.
  13. Mello Souls - We Can Make It - Mello (3 known copies) June Jackson - You're Welcome - Musette (not many)
  14. You can't be paying much attention to Andy Dyson's sets Ezzie he plays it now and again Last one I saw for sale (rare red label) was around £450/£500. Listed it for Andy for around that I think couple of years ago
  15. I have this on video in the garage. I'l have to get myself a video player and transfer to the pc so can put 'em on dvd. The whole Motown at the BBC etc was shown again last night (dunno if it's been mentioned as not read the whole topic). There was extra stuff such as the Life And Death of Marvin Gaye.
  16. fabulous soul record, and a bargain at that price IMO.
  17. Judy Stokes the last time I saw one for sale was £400, put it on one of Andy Dyson's list for that as well some time back. £400 still according to JM guide 5.
  18. anyone got a decent sound file of the Little Curtis?
  19. Thats Rob for sure. First one is Judy Stokes - A Real Man - Soul Power. I'm trying to remember the 2nd track struggling tho'
  20. same track both sides.....one is part two, can't remember if it's an instrumental or more vocal, definitely not the slower take though, that's another release. Not sure of the numbers either, I did scan 'em both but can't find 'em. The faster take is longer if memory serves me correctly. Soundfiles of both takes on the Lifeline website, link under my name below.
  21. anyone record this or is there a podcast, can't see one on the site
  22. Depends what you mean by quantity, Tim got 6 or 7 copies didn't he?
  23. I'd got a feeling this would be a tough one And it was a 60's promo photo, preferably the Attractions but one of Morris would have done. Ah well.....thanks anyway
  24. Anyone got a decent scan of a promo photo of Morris Chestnut or better still the Attractions??
  25. Paypal will do Stuart Interesting read. I trust she had a good time at the Woodside
