web site...is it no longer up and running. Can't seem to get on it, getting a message to create a configuration file There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started. Need more help? We got it. You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn't work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file. Create a Configuration File

Earl Jackson Soul Satisfaction
for a demo aye, but would have thought an issue worth that in pounds, certainly more than the demo.

Ralph Soul Jackson "set Me Free"
I was guessing the same, think all those (or the majority) around at the minute came via Andy Dyson. There's a clip on Lifeline's site, link under my name below.

It Might Be Me But....
what is this venue that played an hour of modern when it shouldn't have? If there isn't one then why we having this debate? C'mon Cris you must have suffered for an hour to make such a post?

It Might Be Me But....
but we aren't talking about a two room venue are we? and "Modern" soul has always been played at Northern venues. Most venues advertise as "Across the board" these days even when they clearly don't play across the board, so should modern not be played at these? If an event played something that was advertised then maybe some have the right to complain but as modern soul is part of the northern scene and has been for years, for example Wigan and many nighters in the 80's (many of which had at least one Modern DJ on), and more laterly venues that play and class the likes of Angie Stone and Drizabone etc as modern and so gives them the right to class their venue as across the board so how do you say what is allowed and what isn't? What p*sses me off is those who complain even though the venue advertises exactly what they play. Has anyone ever asked for their money back when they haven't got what they want?? Have they ever complained to the promoter(s)? Doubt it very much, they would sooner come on here and have a good whinge

Cover Ups : What Was The
quickly from Gilly's notes on the Kent cd booklet........Tats and Gilly went to the States armed with a tape recording from Sedge of the Rose Valentine cover up. Melvin Davis took them round to Dave Hamilton's house and Dave was playing them some studio tapes and on the tape was the Rose Valentine cover up at an "incorrect" slower speed. Gilly then fetched the tape recording from the car played it Dave and Melvin and Dave said it was too fast and originally recorded slower than the tape suggested. They asked who it was as no one really knew who it was (apart from Richard and John Anderson by the looks of things) and Dave Hamilton confirmed it was Ann Bridgeforth...little Ann. I've a recording of Gilly's acetate here, one full take on one side. The flip is the band alone for about a minute then a second instrumental with a touch of backing in it, full take but at a quicker speed.

Cover Ups : What Was The
can't remember the full story but think they played Dave a tape and he told them who it was and he had acetates and studio tapes. If you have the Kent cd Dave Hamilton Dancers it's in the booklet.

Cover Ups : What Was The
and it was Gilly and Tats who found out who it really was on a visit to Dave Hamiltons.
