The prices quoted on the link are a steal IMO for such a quality book. Disappointed as the fourth volume of the R&B Indies hasn't arrived yet!!!

Hi, yes I did look at the pictures. I can't read French but I might invest in one though. The Motown Album I have can be seen HERE cheap at the price offered for the quality of some of the photos. I paid a fiver form a book shop in Bakewell for mine, was a US import that should have been $65!

yes but the gouge is barely audible in places surprised he didn't add the suitable for DJing that some sellers use for discs that are sh*gged!!! Still, someone prepared to take a chance on it -
I already have the Motown Album, its basically book full of photos, fabulous they are too so dunno if it would be worth forking out for something similar.

Think much of the released stuff was aimed at a more MOR/pop market whereas the unreleased stuff IMO leans more towards the R&B/Black Music market and was maybe limited in sales?

think the last one I know sold (and not auctioned) was around £1500.

at a guess not a lot now. had many of these unreleased gems long before Motown actually put them out on cd comps, as have others.

I've seen the Rujac one for as much as £150 for a minter. Regular spin for me this one, fantastic record!! I wouldn't pay any more than £25 for the Atco release, plenty about.

Think Tony was referring to "Who Are You trying To fool" which to my knowledge was known about before Ady got to Dave Hamilton's archives, had it on tape long time. Don't forget Gilly who was with Tat's when they found the acetate at Dave Hamilton's.
