  7. I hate the term Pete, it makes it sound as if it is ok to Dj with f*cked or second rate records and that the punters will put up with any old crap.

Well I thought it was strange as I thought there was some in the 80's. The listing is Global Dog https://www.globaldog...nfo/d/dore.html Its the same listing as the one on Dave Rimmer's site, Dave does mention up to 1970 only.

thanks for that Tony. Obviously I didn't hear it till the 80's and remember it being a big record at places like the 100 Club as Ady says but can't remember for the life of me who was playing it.

according to the listing Kenard is the same year half a dozen releases later, Dore 848. According to the listing (HERE) nothing released after 1970.

If a seller has to bump his sales three or four times a week and sells nothing you would think he would take the hint that A) no one wants what he is selling or his prices are too high.
  22. the database of about 20,000 is already there, like I said it would be interactive and down to the members to build it. I'm not much use at the internet malarky so wouldn't know where to start really.
  23. I've got an Attractions but it is in two halves don't suppose that is any use ...or will someone swap for decent one
  24. I personally wouldn't use gemm (most on there are over priced, well those I seem to want) or popsike to price a record. I would rather use the price guide I think you are referring to...and have done. I would ask on the forums first, here or Rare Soul Forum. Popsike I would have a look but out of curiosity rather than anything else. I've been toying with the idea of an interactive database where members can edit every section, titles, matrix numbers, writers producers, general info and prices...its just getting round to doing something about it.

Maybe, but dunno if your sales topic would be the place to stand up and criticise your prices though. And feedback is no good if the member can delete negative comments. Its a tough one!
