    The unabridged version of an all time classic, great stuff..... patti austin - take away the pain stain - Patti Austin one of my fave female singers. She had a fantastic voice when you consider how young she was when she recorded her Coral outings.

    just to put the record straight I've never said I don't like clapping, I made a reference to the fact when someone said the clapping was shite in the new film I said that they can't clap these days. Like Pete says, 500 dancers clapping inn unison makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up. Trouble is nowadays especially to newer stuff they don't know where to clap...or like Pete says how. Hardly hear any clapping anywhere nowadays although I was clapping behind the decks Saturday

    I don't recall saying I don't like clapping Clapping should be encouraged and when done right only adds to the atmosphere, sounds fookin great when a 1000 dancers do it in unison.. I was stating (I think) that these days they can't or have forgotten how (and when) to clap. And whilst back on this subject, Paul Sadot said he cringed when he saw the break dancing. I remember going to the nights at Hinkley years ago, there was always one kid, who did break dancing, was a good dancer too.

    Andy Dyson has had the acetate some time now, pre dates the coasters by about a year I think. Single artist, forget exactly who, somebody, Sherman or Herman off top of me head. Tis good, get to Lifeline on Saturday, you mkight hear it. Think Ady Pountian has one too. The Mill Edwards Butch has is simply superb IMO, better than the other versions IMHO.

    looking forward to hearing these tapes Ian. Have you put them to cd? If so any chance of a copy?. I'll have to get mine from 80's out of the garage and get them up here. I did some copies for Ady when he was doing 100 Club for Kent or some similar project, Ian Clark spinning Bobby Rich last record I remember form them.

    you can't see the topic description on the iPhone Trev. All I can see is anyone played this out. The topic descripition doesn't show. I did put this in a topic about when asking for value. Refosoul/flash doesn't work on the iPhone either.
