  1. its a rare record mate, know of a couple going for more and would probably fetch more now.
  2. £700 cheap. I remember when the little clutch of them turned up they were selling between £1k and £1.5 if I remember rightly. No more since except maybe the odd one. I know someone who was offering £2.5k and didn't get one. Trouble was the majority of them went to DJ's and you heard it everywhere and got a little hammered play wise.
  3. does it matter he wasn't there early doors? plenty of writers not party to what they write about. As long as the research and homework is done it matters little. I think half the sniping is because of who has written it.
  4. eugene church - dollar bill - world pacific
  5. yes I agree, whatever your views on the topic this is despicable.

  8. when one sneaks under the radar, several 100 quid cheaper than it should be do they price accordingly or by JM book
  9. here's a scan from evil bay, no date...
  10. would have thought that was a well known oldie by then? The Only one I can think of with that (or similar) title is Reuben Wright on Capitol but Kingy played that as Eddie Holman. I've played the reuben Wright out, file is in refosoul.

bloody he'll so it is. It never registered when I gave it a brief Listen once uploaded. It's been on PC for years and on a tape/cd even longer as that, was it covered up as the Flock? No wonder no info out there about it :-)

  19. and some nice footwork here, knackering watching them
  20. some great moves in this well put together video, totally effortless some of the moves...
  21. Think you can go back a long way to see many of the moves now incorporated in the Northern Soul Scene. These two are fantastic......
  22. You want To Change Me my fave, and the flip to Love Love Love. R.I.P. Bobby
  23. Never really thought about it at Lifeline as I don't think we have had any young kids. Karen's daughter Lottie goes but she's more grown up than most of you Never had a problem with her either and I wouldn't class her as a child as such. Dunno what Mick or Andy's take on it is but I will ask the question. If they read this they might give their views.
  24. was this one of those no one danced too first off and keb said I'm gonna keep playing it till you dance with maybe the odd expletive. Sure he said at the recent reunion that when he first played this no f**ker danced! Maybe if he reads this he'll he tell us one way or t'other. Someone did say it was once spun at Wigan, how true I don't know?
