  1. Having seen the film it wasn't the waste of 1 hour 20 minutes like some of you make out. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means but I have seen much worse. I'd give it 4 or 5 out of 10 purely on it's entertainment value. Decent soundtrack as well bar the odd one or two. It never was gonna be artistically 100% correct and every film going uses some artistic licence, if you watch an American war film you would think they won WW2 on their own and the Brits and others weren't involved. Yeah sure some bits were cringe worthy, the dance off definitely. Even though the editing of This England was well done why didn't they use the dancers who took time out of their lives to attend filming? Sure there would have been at least a few who would have danced well enough for the film? And did anyone person ever rule a venue like the guy Alan? Sure there was some nasty folk about more than willing to use their fists but not surely one man? Oh and for some reason I thought that Alan looked a bit like a younger Terry Rider Like I've said there are worse ways in your life to spend an hour and half and I've seen worse films on Sky Movies this Christmas than this. Treat it for what it is, a coming of age love story with Northern as a back drop rather than a film about Northern Soul.

  6. That's the one Ady. I couldn't believe the title when I saw it.
  7. Andy plays the studio acetate by some guy who's name I can never remember Think it actually precedes the Coasters by about a year.
  8. Posted at the same time Richard I looked through the related labels (Solid Hit and Brute) and found nothing that followed or preceded INMB ZTSC 126221. Where does the Steve Mancha/Melvin Davis version fit in all this?
  9. Curiosity got the better of me so had a quick look, Benny Poole on Solid Hit 107 is ZTSC 126202/3. Can't see anything preceding or following 126221 in Revilot, Solid Hit or Brute. The R&B Indies does throw another tit bit up, 208 with two releases. First one the one we are talking about, INMB and LTNGO and another with LTNGO b/w It Rained 40 Days and 40 Nights?
  10. Reckon DJ's ignore the record companies "Plug Side" or the ones marked with an x maybe by the distributors?. Maybe that's the reason for white demos with same track both side, DJ's can't play the wrong side? I wonder what records precede/follow the Jackie Beaver's cuts in the system?
  11. Just noticed he's increased the BIN to $3,850.00 the talk on here must have increased it in value
  12. I've always assumed that unless stated the matrix also specifies the A or B side. Probably not always the case but would say more often than not.
  13. All Your Goodies Are Gone ZTSC 126647 Don't Be Sore At Me ZTSC 126648 Here's a scan from Popsike of the demo side of DBSAM, no plug side mention.
  14. I would agree with the very helpful and easy to deal with. I was after a 200 box with a single row and after speaking to Swan Flight I had one with my records in after about 3 days, fantastic service.
  15. Quality wise it's worth a fortune, great LP. Unfortunately it is pretty common and goes through ebay on a regular basis, I'd agree with Joe's valuation.
  16. Hi Dave, I knew you know it's all above board, I simply used your post to post what Richard said on his site. As Baz says I can't understand why anyone would think otherwise, especially someone so prominent and with the public profile Richard has.
  17. from Richards blog/site...
  18. I thought he was doing a bit of self promoting the other day when I saw but looking at other stuff he had for sale I don't think so.

  22. Me that's confused Brian, I should have read it more carefully but was on my way out. I'd like to hear the Pendulum one, what year was it?
