  1. Just looked on line and they also do an e-mag here's a link to the article... https://www.ink-live.com/emagazines/jetaway/2010/dec/?pageNumber=26 and one to the e-mag just in case the link doesn't work... https://www.jet2mag.com/
  2. If anyone flies with Jet2 look out for the December/January Jet Away magazine, there is an article about NS by Laura Barton. I'll scan it tomorrow when I've time and post it on here. Nothing don't already know or probably haven't read but surprised to see such an article in a magazine like this.
  3. What's 600 between friends :-)
  4. Think if memory serves me correctly put one on Andy's list for about £1100??? I'll have to go back through the lists.
  5. looking at popsike since May last year the prices range between $155 to $511 with the issue fetching more. I would have thought around £350? There was one on here last year for £425. But if you take popsike as gospel then it's just over a ton for a demo.
  6. I would say Locations is rarer than Sensations. Popsike doesn't show all the Sensations that have been through ebay. Plenty been through lists and Kitch had about 10 copies some years ago. Agree with Marc, all in the same area value wise, all rare and indemand. The prices on popsike for the Locations just show why popsike is a waste of time when looking for a value, spread over a period of time and a huge inconsistency with prices.
  7. Will move to All ABout Soul, talking shop is for complaints and feedback about the sales forum.
  8. Here's the third speaker Lucy Gibson. Not sure about quality, sounds a bit broken in places compared to the original file?? Rare Records And Raucous Nights: Investigating Northern Soul Lecture - Lucy Gibson - Part 2
  9. It was once covered up by Gary Spencer as the Sandpipers around the late 80's/early 90's, might have been a bit earlier as I got a copy about 1990/91. One of his biggies around the same time as he had the Idols on USA and Bill Bush covered up, along with Michael Christian on Concept, Junior McCants etc. About £30 nowadays innit? Unless I've missed summat?
  10. I think I've got one on the pc at home. They are on his site for about 5 days after the end and if you sign up to his mailing list you get the results every Friday. I'll have a look when I get home.
  11. yes it does, think I go one telling me to put some more on you tight git, then another saying that's better you're winning Seriously though, I was away and missed the end though dunno if I'd gone as high as it went though it's one don't see too often?
  12. Steve lives in an area just outside Chesterfield. He has/had a market stall on Chesterfield market selling plants. I didn't see him though on my odd visit last year. He chats to me mother, or used to and ask how I was etc. I'll ask me mother to see if he's there next time she is in town and tell him we are talking about him
  13. Could be one of Richard Searling's new re-issue, he might have contact there?
  14. Why not got to radio Trent website and look at the playlists? If they have them.
  15. Why does he need a price guide? He asked a simple question, lengthy one I grant you but nothing wrong with that. Don't know about others but I like to read valuation topics, they can be useful especially if not up to date with some of the prices.
  16. I had a couple of bids on the Sam Cox, not enough though, missed the end of the auction as I was working.
  17. Because the end prices are inconsistent on the majority of sales and do not give a true reflection of a records value. Auction prices are often a result of two bidders who "must have the record at any cost". There are countless topics on here of daft buyers paying well over the odds when the record is available from other well known sites/dealers at a fraction of the cost. So in hindsight it should be those who frequent auctions who should do the homework?
  18. Edited the topic title for you, should make more aware of topic content and hopefully get the help you require.
  19. he's covered up to £28 isn't he on normal postage? If so he can claim the money back through the post office if he has proof and you can claim it back through paypal, everybody happy. Even though he takes them direct to the depot he still has to pay the postage so should have proof.
  20. It's UK to Uk though so it should have arrived, even if sent by Pony Express. If someone got shirty with me when I asked for tracking number or proof of postage I wouldn't wait any longer, I'd simply file a claim and let ebay/paypal sort it. It's been in the UK postal system for two weeks, they aren't that slow, the guy said he'd posted it the next day so I think I'd be asking questions. If you ordered from Amazon or other online outlet you'd be asking questions.
  21. another topic about Bradford Queens Hall
  22. Leeds Astoria flyer......1989.
  23. He should have proof of postage. If he acts the funny bugger just raise a claim with ebay if you get no further with him.
  24. All posts not relating to the actual original post removed, all that are left are Cliff's posts. As said Mike asked members not to make comments on sales topics for obvious reasons. If someone does comment and youbtake offence rather than reply and cause an arguement please use the FLAG button to report the post. This can be found to the bottom left of the post...
  25. Moved to All About The Soul. Will edit the title to something along the lines of your research once you have found the topic and know where it is. Should get a few more hits and hopefully the answers you want in here.
