  2. It's a rock record?
  3. It is actually called "When Somebody Loves You (You're Never Alone)
  4. Great achievement for City, probably the best team I've seen the football they have played over the last few years. Inter pressed them high, made them work, they actually looked more like City do the way they pressed and on the clear chances they had should have scored twice at least. If they could only stop with the play acting, looking for the foul etc and the dirty cynica fouling.
  5. This is the one on the CD release....
  6. There are at least two acetates mate, Mark Jones also has one. There maybe three, not sure if Kitch has one too? Mark has the song sheet too, titled See How Bad I Wanna Love You
  7. Pleasure mate

  9. This weeks show, no studio guest but two hours of quality soul from Dean and Gez
  10. Competing in Europe and PL, they should be able to with squads and money every team have, no excuses. The recovery programs clubs have are second to none. Thursday and a Sunday is no different to Wednesday and Saturday. AS for dragging fans all over, Wednesday or Thursday, what's the difference? Still have to take the same time off work that's what following your club around Europe involves. I agree the league system in the beginning is all about money. Get rid of the Mickey Mouse teams and then have a knock out with the better teams. Play on the opposite week to Champions League too on a Wednesday but playing Thursday shouldn't be an issue as they simply play their league fixture on the Sunday.
  11. I wonder why the two lesser European trophies are somewhat derided? When it was Eufa and Cup Winners Cup they were highly respected? I know the early games can be a bit Mickey Mouse but the later stages now usually have top teams involved.
  12. To allow all those players to be out of contract at the same time is ludicrous, someone's head should role. Is there 7 or 8? Plus some of the top players will leave, Maddison, Barnes...Vardy maybe? I fear for them really, can see them struggling this coming season.
  13. I haven’t been since the last one Ady ran, that was the end of an era for me. Loved the weekends and the Yarmouth ones that preceded them. Missed two I think, Little Ann being one which I was gutted about. So many laughs, high jinks, especially with Al Coney about. So many good times, so many great acts, I don’t remember there being one poor act?
  14. Unfortunately the scheduled guest James Elliott could not make it, he will be in the studio soon though. There are still two hours of quality soul music though from Dean and Gez.
  15. But there is more evidence to suggest Chuck Wood isn’t JR Bailey. The photo you have to take at face value don’t we unless proven otherwise, it is after all what we have to go on. As for the Big T release. Maybe the lack of info surrounding the artist and the release here was money, maybe Roulette had nothing as the record came and quickly went over there and they had little interest in it, simply selling a licence and maybe make a few bucks We generally scoff at hearsay, similarity in voice and assumptions The only thing that links these artists in reality is the fact JR Bailey wrote or co-wrote the songs. There is no hard evidence or facts to prove they are one and the same. The history of music is littered with one hit wonders and even more so artists with one or two releases that failed miserably. I do agree we have to question everything but sometimes we just have to accept what we have and unless Kev’s sources can come up with something more concrete we have no other option. We certainly cannot claim one artist to be another simply because the sound alike.
  16. I understand the mishaps by companies but we have to assume the photo used is Chuck Woods. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise. As much as we’d like to believe our own theories that Chuck is JRB it is becoming more and more evident they are different people. We can only use what evidence we have, however circumstantial.
  17. Don't think you will get much sharper, this the promo and the one Mike posted all point to Chuck Wood not being JR Bailey. Unless we get more information to suggest the photos aren't Chuck Wood we have to go with what information we have and not a similarity in voice which many artists had.
  18. I have the same photo Ian posted
  19. I’m a tight Yorkshire man, much happier digging in the bargain bins
  20. i’d be selling it if some fool wants to pay £8k i’ve never really played big money popular records.
  21. Both probably and promoters booking a Dj with no imagination, gets booked purely because he or she spends £8k on a record
  22. Great records they maybe but I don’t really want to hear any of them anymore, all hammered to death.
  23. Gary Rushbrooke probably, it was one of his biggies
