  1. He got one of the first 5 if I remember rightly, John Anderson find. Sure Mark will know and maybe comment if hen reads this. From Val Shively????
  2. Just compared Terri and Pat, Pat is definitely Terri to my ears and not Pat Lewis.
  3. 6000 items of correspondence and 1000s of orders, I guess they are a little busy mate.
  4. I placed two orders via discogs and one via the website, received them all in a condition actually better than stated and cheaper than I would have got anywhere else. If you don’t want to ring then that is your prerogative but complaining on here won’t get you an answer.
  5. Maybe I should have said Northern Soul as those who attend venues work in just about every conceivable occupation these days. It is commonplace in advertisements and other promotions.
  6. Teako worked with many acts
  7. Is there a strange place these days? What with Soul music lovers working in just about every industry and profession?
  8. Comment in a youtube posting….
  9. There was 5 copies I think initially found. Butch first, Carl F etc. Few others have it now.
  10. Ring, I'm sure with your broken English you will get sorted. Or get a mate with better English to ring. Be better than bitching on here where they aren't members.
  11. The instrumental is on the Goldmine/Soul Supply CD Groovesville Review
  12. Given the stock John says he holds I doubt the sale has even made a dent. Great way to shift stock and create some interest.
  13. The ones I bought were cheaper than any other copy so I’m happy. Three orders in all.
  14. The market has been over inflated for a long time in many cases. Dealers have a choice ro sell at a price they will sell for or have them sat on a shelf.
  15. Are you saying 50% of all orders in the sale have gone unsold? Not sure how you come to that conclusion tbh?
  16. will it not import to excel?
  17. Not sure as there is no access for Mac anyway
  18. I have had four items all graded vg+ but most other dealers would grade EX or M-, more than happy with mine.
  19. I bought my copy from here https://softkeys.uk Lifetime license
  20. I remember one poor Blackburn, might have been the anniversary but most were pretty well attended with plenty full. Many of the nighters then were full, 100 Club, Keele, Chesterfield etc.
  21. This is on the to watch list after some positive reviews. I try and avoid all trailers these days as half the film and most of the good bits seem to be in them nowadays
  22. Give them a ring, that is the best way forward to get an answer
  23. All-nighters are a young persons game. Ever stopped to think why we have lost so many friends so young? Someone is leaving us on a weekly basis way before their time and it can’t simply be coincidence, the lifestyle we chose has to be a contributing factor. As Peter said drugs were the driving force of the scene and for many still are. As has been said the age of many of us probably the biggest reason for the demise of the niter scene. Also there is no youth, or very little yes there are a few hot spots but I dare say the vast majority in those hotspots aren’t really into the scene and very few will stay the course. The niter scene isn’t healthy with one promoter dominating the scene utilising the same Djs with playlists that rarely change. Large venues that by 3am look pretty sparse attendance wise. Some enjoy it still and good on em but not for me. I prefer to be healthy and do other things these days. I can get what I want musically and socially at a soul night and still enjoy the rest of my weekend/week.
