The Kim Weston btw came over on the tapes I think that Robb did for Rod along with Suspicion, Forever In My Heart and the rest of the wonderful unissued Motown that appeared early 80's.

"Any Girl In Love" I only know two takes I think. Kim Weston which was as far as I know the first played over here early mid 80's (don't remember it being covered up mind) and what appeared on the bootleg LP Rob Marriott did and another by the Supremes. Kim Weston one is unreleased except for recent CD's and the Supremes was/is an LP track.

How I read the info from DFTMC is that the acetate they are getting then info from is a National Sound Corporation acetate showing the artist and title LaBrenda Bren "Lead Me and Guide Me"?

This is what it says on Don't Forget The Motor City. It does say that the artist is shown as LaBrenda Ben on the acetate? Lead Me And Guide Me (Brian Holland-Lamont Dozier-Edward Holland Jr) publ. As far as I know the white label one is a re-issue, is it legit? The Brown Tamla release with Picture Sleeve is the rarest given out at a release party for the CD of the same title. People didn't want the 45 and simply discarded it or left it behind. I know some who were going round picking them off the floor.

I don't think it was forgotten about just too cheap for most. Too many are more interested in records far rarer and pricier than to worry about a little ole forty quider. It's been known and had plays for years just never really made it.
