As the other tapes went down so well here is a second late 80's tape from Rob, enjoy!

Some cover ups...
Butch Little Ceasar, Jesse Davis and his Joe Adams Stop acetate.
Andy Dysons Up The Hill cover up, not sure if he has given it an artist? And his Joe Cook cover up, I think that is what it is covered up as.
Was long time ago as it was Keb who found it with John Manship, not sure if Keb played it first or moved it on to Butch or if Butch found another copy.
Listed it twice for Andy D at 400 no takers. Sat in his box which went everywhere for some time. Finally sold it at Radcliffe. Not long after it went on an auction I think for 600 or so.
The one who finished third was the best of the three IMO, especially with his footwork but then again the world champion is just stupid side show when the best dancers aren't even in it. Those who seem to win seem to think it is more about throwing yourself around the dance floor than it is about the music. They do not even dance or do the moves in rhythm to the record.
Pleasure Dave. Both have been quite popular. I have one more of Rob's with a few different bits on so I will transfer and upload. I also have two from Chris with some choice bits on!
As far as I am aware both versions of "Baby Don't You Do It" are the same group just different takes. As far as I know it was credited to the Untied Four as that is who it was assumed to be, wrongly so I was told. I was told it was The Barons Of Soul, it was written by the group or one of its members at the least.
Searling and Rushbrooke both had it first now I'm not sure if they had the different takes or one of the same? Rob probably got it from Jimmy Wensiora at a guess...or one of his dodgy cuts?
I agree some have turned up but I have still seen over the years more copies of the Del-Larks, both in collections and for sale. More Bobby Rich will probably turn up, who knows. Right now I think it is worth more than $1500.
I wouldn't wish to stop Ezzie's all-nighter so here is another of Rob's tape from a few years earlier.

It is Searling's and Gary Rushbrooke's old Leo Wright and the ElBejays cover up. Actually the Barons of Soul. Came out on the Outta Sight label couple of years ago under wrong name.
Bit of time so thought I'd digitise a tape or two. Here is one from September 1992 that Rob Marriott gave men of his then current biggies.
