The Enchantments is on the Rare Soul on CD, not sure about green cover, non e of my early ones has a green cover except the double CD NS Fever which is number 27. Enchantments is also on one of the NS Fever discs. Connie Van Dyke is on "The Magic Of Detroit", not sure of the number.

I did think it was but wasn't sure, when was it?

I have most of the early Goldmine/Soul Supply. Thinking about selling them. First was the Rare Soul On CD in 1988 (mine has Grey Sleeve as said and didn't see a red till much later). Then came Northern Soul Story, Modern Soul Selection, Detroit, Sweet Soul, Mellow Groove then Girl Groups etc etc......

I though it was later as I remember someone playing it at Wilton and they said for first time? Few 80's tracks in the list but it's how you remember I guess.

I have the Rare Soul On Cd Vol 1, mine is a grey cover and was the first I saw.

Thanks Joe. I bought one described as an original off discogs, cheap mind. But as soon as I saw it I was suspicious, even more so when I saw the inner sleeve and inside of the cover. There is no FW stamp either

Whilst I agree about "New Girl", The Spring Song release doesn't fall into this category.

Genuine 60's release Robb as far as I am aware. The picture sleeve is usually with the black vinyl release. As mentioned there is another release on the label with red vinyl so the label does have form.

Shame Jimmy didn't push himself a bit more, he always seemed to be a reluctant DJ.

The Icemen on Olé 9, blue vinyl must be pretty tough.

Doesn't necessarily mean pressed by Sheldon. They also just did the mastering. If pressed by them it usually has a sheldon number in the run out S****. Sheldon is in italic font, bit like Nashville Matrix.

Another avid here. Usually listen on a monday when I get in the wagon.

I have a program for converting to ebook, will see how it comes out and send it on if any good. My mate had one of those machines that spiral bound paper so quite a few of mine are like that, well preserved mind.
