    I've been scanning a few more magazines, this time Blackbeat from the early to mid 80s. Edited and produced by Steve Guarnori and Kevin Griffin. They were a mine of I information which is quite remarkable given there was no I internet or resources we have had stay the past decade.     Saying Connie is Chris is just a lazy assumption because of the obvious connection between Frank and Chris. There never has been any basic evidence they were one and the same.

    PB isn’t a plant matrix but initials of the engineer, many engineers had their work initialled. Had a discussion elsewhere and PB is probably Phil Brown, a West Coast engineer in the 70s and who apparently worked at Monarch in 1974.

    None are rare, they were everywhere at one time, every sales box, every dealer. It still a regular sales item as well. Simply demand that is driving this

    Given the fact Frank said she was session singer I think we can stop throwing names of well known singers in the hat, I’m sure Frank would have remembered recording someone well known

    Cashmeres on Mercury were a mid 50s vocal group so by the 60s would have been at least nearer 30. Eddie Jefferson if its the Eddie Jefferson linked on discogs and yes before anyone pipes up I know discogs is user entered and often wrong) was born in 1918 so he would have been knocking on a bit come the mid 60s. I don't think it is him and discogs IS wrong. I have read Eddie is the same one. who recorded for Stax and Goldwax.

    There was half a dozen groups either called the Cashmeres or had cashmeres in the group name. The one we are concerned with (Hubba Hubba, HEM and Ninandy artists) had Eddie Jefferson (Jeff on the acetate), Robert Rennie and as also stated on the label Brown and Busby. Robb K on Soulful Detroit said "Eddie Gibbs and Don Edwards were also members of the group (I believe, before Eddie Jefferson joined?" That would make 6 members at various points in the brief history of the group, not saying at the same time though. What is the source of the photo?

    I dunno but I guess whoever is behind the shorter video is blocking it for some reason? I think it was for a TV show as there is Temptations footage from around that time too if I remember rightly?

    he did redo it but took all the studio footage out, just some video of the supremes on stage now.
