  2. Hi all, Just added a "£10 and under" page to the web site, theres a good few listed now and I'll be adding more today and through the week. https://www.paulsrecords.com/ Cheers Paul
  3. "spinners..what more could a boy ask for" Worth the price of the Lp for this track alone
  4. Alternatively, it is on the LP "A Little Knight Music" which I have a spare copy of for a tenner plus p&p.
  5. Here you go: https://www..co.uk/auctions_detail.asp?id=502 "Bids away" as they say
  6. I think these 3 facts are related in some way Mine was one of the first records I bought from the states in the late 90's after hearing it on a tape from Nancy Yahiro. CHOON! It was on an 18 page list that a record dealer sent me before they all found ebay. 6 dollars. I was working from the front and ordering in batches of 5-10, nothing more than 10 dollars a record. I found out later Martin T was working from the back of it at the same time so I reached the Millionaires before him but he reached the Cliff Nobles - My Love Is Getting Stronger before I did I probably missed loads too in my ignorance. Cheers Paul
  7. Phew Thanks Paul
  8. Do you mean the bevel is on the inner label i.e. by the centre hole? Cheers Paul
  9. So it wasn't "Bus Stop" then?
  10. Marcia Hines - You Gotta Let go - Dig-it Picture sleeve. Put this up for sale on my web site but I actually think I'll keep it Clarence Jackson - If it don't fit - Valtone Johnny Moore - Call It What You wanna - Chi City Almost bought the wrong record as the sound file for this was up against a different 45 on eBay, saved 80 quid as well as the disappointment. Ignorance is a dangerous thing. Waiting for: Traits - Too Good To Be True - Pacemaker O'Jays - I'll Never Forget You - Imperial Sold mine off my web site and regretted it whilst packing it, got another off eBay for 30 quid less than I sold mine for
  11. Do you know, I never noticed they had the same backing! Probably why I liked the Clarence Jackson. I'll play them back to back when it turns up. Cheers Paul
  12. I hadn't heard it before Saturday when Harry played it and I was born in 1957. He played the vocal and it grabbed me instantly. Was extremely chuffed to find it was a relatively cheap tune too. Cheers Paul
  13. Sorted on this now. Cheers Paul
  14. Stop telling everyone how good it is Mark, I'll never get one at this rate
  15. Harry told me on Saturday that it was a 25 quid tune
  16. Clarence Jackson - If It Don't Fit - Valtone (either b side but please state which) In at least Ex condition, please pm me stating a price. Thanks Paul
  17. Many thanks Steve. It's not often I hear something, think its great then find out it is cheap but that is 3 times in 2 days Cheers Paul
  18. Can anyone identify this track please? whatisthis.mp3 Thanks Paul
  19. As an antidote to the listing of poor ebay experiences, today I received a copy of "Bobbie Smith - Walk On Into My Heart" in much better condition than I expected ..... ...... and as an added bonus, instead of cardboard stiffeners the guy had used 2 other soul records to wrap it in !
  20. I saw that when I searched on the net for it after listening to it on Jm's site. I thought it would go way over 300 quid on his auction because of that ebay auction price (normally cheaper) so never bothered to look at it again. That's cos I didn't know it and wasn't aware of rarity and/or current price. Nice tune though, both sides, will keep an eye out for it. 500 for Sam Dees though I wish I could get that, mine would be gone in a shot
  21. I had a demo which I couldn't sell on here and it eventually went on eBay for 30 Ditto, should have kept it. Good tune
  22. Been updating the website on & off this week & added a good few things. Records available from 15 to 400 quid. Have a look and either buy from the site or get in touch if there is anything you want. https://www.paulsrecords.com/ Hope to add a "under a tenner" page over the weekend and then get on with the Motown & LP's bit. I'll soon be free of eBay Cheers Paul
  23. Sort of correct! I think you should have that conversation with my missus cos I'm not going to . She is not an attorney, she is a Trade Mark Attorney i.e. she does this for a living. Anyway no need to discuss the ins & outs of UK trademark law (thankfully) as it turns out it has nothing to do with Mr C. Ta Paul
