Aye always loved this. Last heard on NYE Soul or Nowt room. After many ales, eagerly strode over to the decks (both of which were spinning) and hit the stop button to check the label, but of course it was the track that was playing! Immediately hit start and fecked off sharpish.
  2. ... You don't know like I know ..? That's not a statement btw.. That's the title of the only bad track on the album (imo). Ain't No Big Thing - Yet to be mentioned is also the version I reckon.. Superb.
  3. Live acts are the worst for over running their time. Some supposing their collective worth is greater than all of the jocks moulded together.

Oh yeah that's right! 1000 pardons. Not overly familiar with that number due to initial hearings leading me to the conclusion that it was a little bit crap. Did try and listen to the clip beforehand on Soulclub, but strangely (at work at least) I get error messages on about half the tracks on there. Dunno if anyone else has this problem? Fluffy Falana. What kind of name is that for a geezer?

Sadly an ever increasing number of Soulclub track will not play on my pc at work.. but did Fluffy Falana ever mention her 'little cottage' during the song?

It's not Bobby that sings 'lend a hand' it's the backing singers, but it's still in the song nonetheless..

I remember me & Smudge put a request in to John Manship for seven or eight C90 sales tapes in about 1987. This was the only real way were going to get to listen to these tracks over and over in our own time. They were things like Tony Galla, John Bowie, Gene Toones, Doug Banks and also Ty Karim - You Really Made It Good to Me. This last track was most definitely one of the must have biggies on the list. Loved it then and have done ever since. Fantastic track! Ty would have only been gone about four years or so when we first got to hear her music. Rest in peace Ty Karim.

No worries if you get a sec go to download.com and type in 'freecorder' that is the easiest way of making mp3's. As for the other side, I played years of tears at the 100 Club, couple of years back but think ILYA would have gone down better... I'm the other way round now in that I bought it for Y.O.T, but now prefer the other side..
