  1. Nah we've bickered about this film before. It'll all be forgotten about until it comes out then we'll bicker all over again. Funding aside, there's enough of us here (if we were that bothered) to make a real one.
  2. Jeff the writer chappy said this sort of time next year I think.
  3. Big breaths ... Yeth and I'm only thickthteen ...

  5. Indeed.. Good luck to the film makers with this venture, I'll certainly give it a watch. How much more anticipation there would be (from me at least) if there was an authentic period soundtrack, yer Morris Chestnut's & Eddie Holmans... Maybe less of the love & romance and more DS fleecing people on trains, green & clears etc etc ....
  6. Reductions on the rest before they go on Ebay. If the member who pm'd me about the Clarence Hill would like to make an offer, please do so.
  7. Comment from the films director on the music policy towards the end of the clip in the link below. https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7459499.stm
  8. So they say ... Will he get the girl? Won't he? Gee mom, apple pie, happy endings and it's all done in the best possible taste ..!
  9. Should an issue be too difficult to locate, there's a rather nice demo for sale - see link below.

  12. Spot on that woman! I've heard this term 'social climbers' before.. It's a bit sad in some respects when you consider the etiquette we have on our scene. This 'I'm better than you' attitude is completely at odds with the generally accepted and understood friendly etiquette we have. Maybe these so called 'A listers' should be exempt from this unwritten ruling by us mere mortals? So if you're dancing and you clip one of these mothers, instead of a tactile reassurance and a smile, give them a scowl & the bird!? My biggest worry is that I am at times a bit addled at these nighters and with a pish poor memory, it would be horrendous to have this shabby state of consciousness mistaken for rudeness/aloofness.. In the final analysis the music is king and we are all equal admire-rs of this kingly music imvho.
  13. Indeed and in minty condition, purchased from Scenesville legend Nick Brown.
